Addictive gameplay. If you get into it you won't get out ....

A nice game to play on your Steam Deck in between - 20 minutes here, one hour there.

I enjoyed to explore the world, get to know each form and experiment with skill combinations, although it was a little grindy at times.

A blast from the past, with improvements!

If you liked these kind of games in the 90s and have not tried OpenTTD, just do it.

A nice game so far, BUT after 1.7 hours (including some afk time) I unlocked 5 "hero slots", but there seem to be only 4 heroes. The fifth one is paid DLC only, as far as I can tell.
That is just greedy by the devs -imo.

I enjoyed the game a while back, wanted to play a little bit today, and was unable to do so as the servers are down. Seems to be this way for a month now and no reaction from the developers.
IMHO an unplayable game should not still be sold.

Edit: As far as I can tell, it took more than a year for Steam to disable purchase for a game that is unplayable ...

I have not seen too much of the game yet, but what I've seen I liked quite a lot, it brought back memories of the "good old times". You will have to learn patterns to vanquish bosses. You might have to backtrack, if you do not pay attention, because you are lost in the scenery. The usual ;)

Controls are tight, music is great, visuals are fitting.

If you enjoy Metroidvanias, you have to have a shot at Axiom Verge.

Die erste halbe Stunde war sehr unterhaltsam, allerdings bisher auch keine wirklichen Herausforderungen. Ich werde den Review in der Hinsicht später aktualisieren.

Die Steuerung ist übersichtlich und wird in Schritten erklärt, wobei es keine endlosen Tutorial Texttafeln gibt, wie in anderen Spielen.

First battle, trying to figure out what to do - one of my units just runs into a wall :( I have to say that such a bad pathfinding just made me stop playing the game. I really liked the promise. (My gametime is so high due to card farming).

I really like the game, reminds me on childhood games from the 90s.
+ It is Ghostbusters ähh ...control
+ Mix of tactical, strategic and economic
+ graphics (which you just might hate)
