13 hours in and completely stuck at the takedown Sacred Coil mission.
I might not have played the game "as it was designed to get there" but... that's the whole point.
The player should have a choice and well... have a chance to fix things, now I'm just 13 hours in and the game is like.... well F*** you player, you should just restart the campaign and try again! Not happening... this one is for the ragequit games list.
I bought it because I like Xcom games... a lot, but this is no Xcom game. Poorly executed moneygrab IMO, even if it was offered relatively cheap. There's no excuse for this.

I once read here "If you buy just one game this year, make it this one". And Well... I couldn't agree more with that statement. Thank goodness this was released on PC, as I don't game on anything else. Just not enough free time for that. But this game sucked me in completely, you'll feel compelled to come back to it any free moment you can spare... and this comes from someone who's been mostly out of gaming for the past 15 years or so. I don't game a lot anymore, but man... this experience was new! I bought Fahrenheit back in the day when it first came out, but this is a whole different kind of immersion, thanks to technological advancement. Get this game now... don't be discouraged by "poor optimization".

I managed to get this game to run flawlessly on both my AMD based desktop as well as my gaming laptop with both Vega graphics and a GTX 1650, BUT there's a few things you might have to do on a laptop with dual graphics:

First, get the latest Vulkan drivers, there's no harm in that: https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home#windows
Try running your game after that, if it doesn't go to Device Manager and disable your integrated Intel or Vega graphics and try running your game for the first time. For me this worked and the game succeeded in compiling the shaders, but it ran poorly after completion. Exit the game, enable the Intel or Vega graphics again and try running the game again. It should work without any issues now.

Go and have a blast with this masterpiece!

At first I thought I was going to end up a lesbian like so many others I've read about here.
But then I stole money from the game devs' safe... then a crash came along, reboot failed... END OF STORY! Brilliant!
