Best VR game ever.

I have been a VR addict since day one of Vive release 4 yrs ago. This is what we all want every VR game to be.
I like VR but unfortunately right now we are overloaded with tech demos, Early Access game that never get support or finished, and unpolished games that are fun to play but look horrible.

HLA is a VR game in the Half Life world. The one thing you have to remember is that this you are playing as Alyx and not Gordon Freeman in his HEV suite. So she doesn't move as fast, not as strong, cannot carry as many weapons, cannot wield heavy weapons, and not as physically capable as Gordon Freemen in his HEV suite.

Just like HL1 and HL2 are pretty much "must own" for anyone that wants to claim to be a member of the "PC Master Race."
HLA is a "must own" for anyone that wants to claim to be a member of the "VR Master Race!"

Just awesome!!! If you are a fan of music then you will love this app.
The ability to almost make a song completely your own is the best. Even songs that you are not a fan of can be taken, stripped, remixed, and twisted to your liking.
I hope they continue to support this game by adding more music, genres, and additional edditing tools. I for one would love the addition of some REGGAE!!!
The lauch list of 40 songs may seem somewhat short but I have spent almost 2 hours on 4 songs when I initially played it. And that even includes a song I didnt like that I made into something that I do like.
This will be a blast at parties for sure. Even for the not so musically inclined the app drops whatever instrument they have payed on the beat so there is no thought necessary.

Awesome!!! A short little video in VR. The kids love it and I think this is a sign of how children will enjoy watching cartoons. It has a great feature that allows you to watch in as a Giant, an Ant, or as a normal person. You can teleport around as you wish. There is not much to this video but the only real downside to this is that its short. I hope this is the first of many to come. Check it out, its a quick download and a qucik view.

Right now I have spent more time in this game than any other VR game that I own. It is very similar to a RTS game where you control the movement of your Peeps, collect resources, and fight of enemies. You have an end goal and you try to get there as quickly as possible. I enjoy it and I revisit the game to try to better my fastest time. The game is well made, very polished, and fun. If you enjoy RTS games then I completely recommend that you at least try this game. You can enjoy it in VR or on a 2d screen. I have never played it on a 2d screen but I dont think one way is more enjoyable than another. I hope they may a Tethered 2 with more cools features soon.

I had a tough time deciding if this game deserved a positive or negative review. But the truth is the only thing I didnt like about it is that it seemed short... but is it actually short when it has several different endings?!? I finished it in about an hour but apparently there are several ending and obviously I only saw one. I am not sure if I will want to go back and play through it again to see a different ending. But I will probably watch friends/familly play and see the different endings.

My One huge but small nit pick is that one of the things that I distinctively remember from the original duck hunt was the dog's laugh. I am disappointed that they did not include that simple detail. Or maybe I didnt miss enough targets for him to laugh at me?!?

Bottom line is that this game is pretty much Duck Hunt in VR, nostalgic, creepy, unique, and slightly innovative.

Fun way to advertise a movie. Cool puzzle this is added to the list of VR party games when friends and family come over. Everyone can be involved in solving the puzzle while the person in the headset takes instructions from the crowd.

It did have issues though. I had to restart the game once because one of the drawers that needs to be opened would not open.
There were times where I went to interact with an object and it instead interacted with an object 3 ft below.
I am running a GTX 1080 with only 1.2 SS and reprojection kept kicking in. This game should not be so tough of a GTX 1080 so I can only assume that it is not well optimized. Other than that its definately a keeper for popping VRgins cherries.

An awesome VR experience. It had me laughing like a child. This is a must for anyone that wants to feel lost in a unique place. You will need a decent size area to walk around and expereince the environment.

Excellent!!! Very well done and I love the concept. I felt like a detective... a very powerful time altering detective!
The game was slightly blurry. No graphical settings but I imagine it will come later. Very Nice concept and I hope it turns into a full game. I will buy it for sure!!!

Awesome! Short demo. About 5 mins long and you get to act like a jedi for FREE!!!
At first I turned the grfx settings up to High, it was unplayable on my GTX 980, i7 2600k. I had to quit and restart with low settings and it ran great.

Very good game. My 11yo daughter loves this game.
The puzzles are chalenging and VR adds a new element to these kinds of puzzles.
Its very difficult for me to say anything negative about the game and there is absolutely nothing I dislike about the game.
If you like puzzles and would like to try a puzzle in VR then this is the game I would recommend starting with.
