The game is a perfect mix of exploration, combat, and everything between - building, gathering resources, crafting, etc. It tries to refresh mechanics that are tedious in other titles and succeeds for the most part. It is no too punishing, at least not till more advanced biomes and even then it is still pretty lenient(ish).

It has that sense of mystery that not a lot of games manage to capture; it's great as a single-play game and even better with friends; you can literally spend entire days doing menial things and it is still fun. It's been the most fun I had since discovering that if you rub the magic mushroom long enough, it rewards you with more enjoyment than it does Mario.
