A glorious Gnostic corporate hellscape; brilliant in its misery, beautiful in its garishness, and more cyberpunk than Cyberpunk™. Obtuse and difficult with high learning curve, but so worth the pain. One of the greatest, most innovative and unique takes on the FPS formula ever. Essential.

A gritty, backwoods, Deliverance-country nightmare lovechild of Quake and Doom with heavy Lovecraftian influences. Awesome.

I want to recommend this, I really do, but I can't. The concept is good and the atmosphere is spooky and oppressive. I was drawn in by the eerie intro which was quite well done in evoking a sense of dread and rural isolation. Unfortunately it's all downhill from there. I found the game so buggy as to be literally unplayable, prone to locking up my PC to the point of requiring a hard boot, and the story is extremely vague. This could really be something worth checking out if it ran properly and had a fleshed out story to drive it along. As it stands, you're best to pass on this.
