best multiplayer zombie game

all the characters are cringe

"Wow, I get to play as a cat? So cool!" is the best thing about this game.
I refunded it after 90 minutes.
Story: didn't get far enough but it was boring the whole 90 minutes I played. Visuals and the cute cat made me play it.
Gameplay: Environment was beautiful but I hoped it would be fun to climb up buildings like assassin's creed, but it wasn't. I was just constantly looking for "X" to press to climb up, and there wasn't any other creative ways to 'conquer' climbing up a building like assassin's creed. The best part of the game was when I was running away from the tiny blobs that were chasing me. It felt like I was playing assassin's creed, running fast and fluid through the city streets and that was really fun.
But the rest of the game felt linear and kind of like playing Detroit become human, where the game tells you to press X at certain times to go through the story.

looks amazing, sounds amazing, so boring and sleepy.
loved 'into the breach' though and i got recommended this game through that game.

Dont buy for steam deck ⛔
I have fond memories of playing FFL3 on my gameboy pocket in the back of the school bus when I was in 6th grade.
The FF world was so vast and big back then, despite the tiny screen of the gameboy.
I was very excited to try this remastered port for my steam deck. But the steam deck already has emulator support and I was able to compare this remastered port vs the gameboy rom.
✅ The gameboy emulator gives over 100+ color variations to try. Just like when you plug in a gameboy game into a gameboy color.

🤷🏻‍♂️i will not be purchasing products that are just lazy ports with less features than a real gameboy.

uncustomizeable controls - do not buy if you play with customized keys
I changed the default "confirm name" key from V to R and now every time i try to confirm character name, noth V and R opens the menu.
there's basically no way to play with customized keyboard layout.
i have a mini 12 key keyboard that I like to use for old school JRPGs and i have to stick to the default keys and that means I have to modify the keys physically.
another example is how the game wants you to press X to start a game.
I can't change the X to something else. Left Shift is a fixed key for cancel key in the menus. This is pretty basic 'confirm/cancel' button that cannot be changed. i am able to change this in other Final fantasy games like 9 or 6

I thought the game sucked at first since I kept dying.
But after trying few more times, realizing that upgrading the ship was making things more fun and learning to move the ship backwards and fly in circular motion to dodge enemy attacks, i started doing better.
Now, after dying couple more times but progressing further, even dying is fun because I can use the credits I collected to upgrade the ship.
It's addictive like playing a defense game. Upgrade the energy and money loot related perks first. Learn to dodge by flying backwards in circles. Change the controls if you need to. I changed my WASD to complete strafing keys, and I use CTRL to move back and Space to move forward. It made things much much easier. I was able to take down big enemy ships without getting touched.
This game is beautiful and easy to play like an arcade, but it's like a fun RPG at the same time due to the progress saved every time.
Note that your game saves when you get to a new area.
You can quit out if you think you will die.
I will be playing more to advance further and hopefully beat the game and buy everspace 2.

first of all, troll price for a troll game. the game is 69 cents.
and look at the ridiculous "overwhelmingly positive' reviews. the most hours someone played is like 3 hours max. trolls trying to troll innocent people like me to buy the game with troll reviews!!

i was expecting a cute side scroller with many levels.
this game has 1 single level and you have to start over when you die!!!!
this is no different from simple flash games online!!!
do not buy this game.
