I've always been a fan of CRPGs like Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment, Pathfinder, Arcanum, KOTOR, Fallout, and Divinity, and this game is just as wonderful as all those great classics! The writing is great, the NPCs are all complex and interesting, your choices make a difference in the story, there's a ton of character customization (especially for us powergamers), and I can already feel the replayability.

I still play Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 from time to time, and 20 years from now I'll probably play Baldur's Gate 3 again!

It's like a more light-hearted Diablo: click the monsters, get better loot, level up, click the monsters, get better loot, level up... Fun stuff!

This game is awesome! My 3 year old loves it! I wish there were more nonviolent exploration games like this!

However, in the last few months or so, the game got really glitchy. I don't know what happened, but sometimes the yes/no faces (from the rabbit offering you tea) show up on top of the rabbit's chair, or sometimes the game crashes when we go into the dragon's room. Weird things like that.

I'm a huge fan of Baldurs Gate and the old Fallouts, as well as newer games like Diablo III and pen-and-paper RPGs like D&D and Pathfinder itself, so I was super excited when I heard about this Pathfinder: Kingmaker (PK) game.

I've played 32 hours of PK and I'm loving it so far! The barony thing is really confusing and boring, so I set that to auto and it pretty much runs itself, leaving me all the free time I need to go exploring and adventuring!

I might edit this review later after many more hours of playing, but so far it's really cool and totally worth $40

Oh, I forgot to mention: A lot of people are complaining about the long load-times in this game, and IT'S TRUE! The load-times take forEVER! I think I've spent 15 of my 32 hours playing this game just staring at the loadscreen. It's bad. And I don't know why.

EDIT: Okay, so after like 130 hours of playtime, I gotta say, I still love this game. The long load times are still torturous, though, but other than that it's a great game!

EDIT 2: Okay, so after like 300 hours of playtime, I still love this game!

Witcher III is AMAZING! It's like the next step you take after Skyrim. The story is so immersive, the music is perfect, the map is seemingly endless, the quests are never boring, and one quest leads to another and another and another and another and another and.. Ohmygosh I've been playing for 48 hrs straight, time for bed!

After 206 hours of playing this game, I gotta say that I still enjoy it. Yes, there are bugs and glitches that people take advantage of, but I've only played on PvE servers thus far and that hasn't really caused me much grief yet.

Your first few hours into the game really feel like a survival game, but then after a few hours it feels more like a base-building game. So many hours spent building your fortress! I haven't had to deal with "building decay" yet, but I'm sure it will be annoying when it comes up (apparently if you don't hang out in your buildings long enough, they disappear).

The game really feels like Conan, though, with all the classic sword-and-sorcery bewbs and gritty combat!

I do have three complaints about the game, though. For one, I wish the dungeons were better. As is, the dungeons aren't really dungeons so much as little caves with a boss in them. Too short, too easy, no treasure inside worth doing them again. I'm used to expansive dungeons from other MMOs with lots of treasure, lots of stuff to kill, and a tough boss fight that requires lots of friends helping you. Dungeons in this game are a disappointment. Secondly, it's lore. After 200 hours, I still haven't figured out the lore within the game. I guess some mysterious god-things put us all in the Exiled Lands and we have to collect all these artefacts to remove the bracers on our wrists to escape? That's about it, though. I'm used to games like Skyrim and Witcher with more of a plot, so maybe that's my problem. My last complaint about the game is the lag (or is it framerate?). I have a nice computer, but this game seems so choppy and skippy and rubber-bandy, as it were, that most of the time it's difficult and frustrating to play.

As a survival game, Conan Exiles is cool enough to keep my attention for now, but I can see myself getting bored with it soon. At level 60 (the highest level), I'm not sure what there is to do anymore. My fortress is good enough, I have the best armor and weapons, and my thralls (slaves) are the best ones I can get. So now what? I guess build more bases or collect more thralls? The endgame seems to be lacking. And that could be because I only play PvE. Maybe PvP is different..
