This would be one of the easiest Final Fantasies to get into in terms of complexity and and play styles.
Which i would say it would have to one of it good points and bad points.
I still have a tendency to avoid any walkthroughs and try to play the game as fresh as possible and it drove me crazy that i couldn't edit or change anything on Jill or my dog until i realized that it just wasnt possible.

Boss battles were epic, actually getting to use the summons and have the battle other summons was a great innovation.
But the game play it self was just a bit too simple. Compared to 15 it was a bit of a disappointment.

The visuals and story was on par with other final fantasies, i really really hated they mother.

Get it when it's on a discount if you love a story driven japrg. It's quite like watching an interactive movie i would sum up.

Glad this finally came out on the PC the story is great, the world is stunningly beautiful.
The movement and battles are quite intuitive and fun.

only pet peeve is the story is forced on you, no skipping until NG+, i mean there are subtitles i read it and want to to move on.
Travel is a pain until you open the map. navigation is annoying, i mean a tiny compass somewhere wouldn't hurt.

A must play game i would say.

The music and the atmosphere is great. Super relaxing while chasing after the fishes.
The artwork and story was able to drive the game and made it super addictive.

I wanted to post a negative review because of the glaring bugs and issues that the game was released with. I bought the vault edition to play early but it was so buggy i couldnt even load it up. TO this very day the game will still crash at least once during game play.
But i cannot deny how much fun this game is. the game in theory can only get better with optimizations. And for me this is the first time to play with so many different platforms which is quite fun. I can forgive the issues it has obviously has and still rush headlong to get all my golds to plat.

No idea what i'm doing in the game, just randomly doing things. Lots of fun when you just want to relax and do things.

Fun game, lots of replay. Better with friends, cant wait for the full game
