they really, really, really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ refined what made doom 2016 fun into something id be confident calling perfect. playing this game is satisfying in a way i can only compare to my first time playing the original titanfall. its a completely new experience i didnt get from any fps before it.

easily the greatest addition to the series since the magnum opus, soul calibur 2.

this product has been available for roughly 13 hours and so far i have 11.7 hours played. i have an unreasonably long list of positives to state about this game, so instead ill post the only negative.

if you make a casual lobby with only 2 players youre not able to immediately queue into a rematch. you have to return to the lobby and choose your characters again. this is ridiculous. i could understand if there were other players in the lobby, but as long as its me and my friend playing casuals we 100% need the ability to instantly rematch.

other than that, this game is flawless. ive even learned to appreciate reversal edge. if youre on the fence, shut up and buy it so i have more people to matchmake with.
