The first Remnant was good. This one is fantastic! The story is awesome, the game play is great, the level of replayablility is sky high. Definitely recommend.

This game is fantastic. It's like if tabletop D&D, XCOM, Baldur's Gate, and Gloomhaven had a love child. That said it is not without it's issues: It's not the prettiest game and it's got some performance issues. All in all, though, it's a stellar indie game launch and I cant wait to see what they do with it in the future.

This game is absolutely hysterical and a blast to play. It combines my love of party games, making fun of movies/tv shows, and comedy. Also MST3K and RIFFTRAX. It is well worth the money it costs.

Fired AK-47, sneezed, let go with left hand, kept holding trigger, shot self in face. 10/10 - Would accidentally ventilate my forehead again.

In seriousness:
Played the free version from SideQuest and thought it had promise. Decided to get the full version, and it is incredible. This game is basically VR CS:GO with additional WWII and Zombies modes. It is incredibly fun whether you just play the shooting range and training course mode (which I have multiple hours in on the Quest free version), or you play the actual game modes. For the cost it can't be beat!

This game is an absolute blast. It's like Left 4 Dead meets The Ship meets The Long Dark in the best way possible. This game, despite it's simple concept, immediately invokes a "don't trust anyone" sense of survival.

I absolutely hated the first Destiny game, and I don't like any of the Halo games. Decided to give this game a shot at the urging of a friend and let me tell you: it is incredible. Fun, challenging, gorgeous graphics, incredible sound design, great game modes as well as open world.

It has a few downsides: The two most recent xpacs are paywalled, but I understand that. The biggest drawback is the UI and figuring out the menus and navigating the way it all works is a clunky mess. Once you figure it out you are fine though.

While not entirely finished being created, there is loads to do in this game. If you like games like Chivalry and Mordhau this combat system will feel very familiar to you. If you like MMO's that don't shoe horn you into a class (such as Star Wars Galaxies) and allow freedom and are actually challenging this game is for you.

POSITIVES:
Extremely fun combat system
Very VERY Inception level deep crafting system
Amazing siege system
Incredibly versatile character leveling system
Lots of great risk VS reward systems, without being punishing
Great gameplay
Can limited loot players killed in pvp
Realm VS Realm reminds me of Dark Age of Camelot but done better

NEGATIVES:
Not the best optimization
Somewhat steep learning curve that will take a few days to figure out
Higher level players in PVP can be a bit daunting to take on at first
A few glitches and exploits here and there (The team works very quick to fix them)

All in all I am eager to see where this game goes and have had a blast with it. It is definitely in the Top 5 MMOs I have ever played, and that is saying something as I have played a LOT over the years.

9/10. Fixes a ton of the issues I had with the XCOM remake.

PROS:
- Base building is no longer a micromanaging hell
- More class variety (Rangers are amazing)
- Levels seem to actually do something for soldiers (IE: Rookies feel like rookies, but as they gain ranks they feel like hardened soldiers)
- Storyline isn't cringeworthy and the cutscenes are really well done
- Great graphics

CONS:
- Has some frame hiccups for no reason sometimes
- Sometimes there's a weird pause after you take an action
- Takes a little bit to get going into what feels like "XCOM" instead of a tutorial, but that could just be the tutorial mode. Will edit when I start my second campaign to see.
- RNG God's are still a bit judgemental but no where near as bad here. 98% to hit at point blank with a shotgun doesn't seem to mean "12% and you're wearing a blindfold" anymore.

All in all this game reminds me more of the classic XCOM series both in story and fun. It's very fast paced once it picks up and it feels more gratifying storywise. I like the concept of "Humans failed, we are a small resistance movement vs the big conquering force" a whole hell of a lot.
