LOTS of characters, skills, unlocks etcetera. Ton of fun. I do feel the games winning conditions are a bit formulaic and the same from character to character. Find a skill that hits AOE multiple times/fast as possible, maybe triggered by other skills. Have it apply debuffs like bleed/burn/poison/doom. Rinse and repeat.
Other strategies don't seem to do anywhere near as much damage.
So fun game, but once you figure this formula out every character plays pretty much the same. Maybe each character has different ways to get there, but basically the same.

Just tried Torchlight Infinite. Absolutely terrible game design. The menu's, the character and skill selection..... complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I literally could not figure out how to exit the game. Okay, I'll ask global chat. Oh, you can't chat in Global until level 10..... Seems the levels you'd have the most questions, you can't chat.
Character selection is a series of pictures of characters, but as far I can could tell very few were free to play and it was not clear which was which. I had to click through like 5 of them before I found the free one. Mind boggling bad design. I had to hard stop the program to get out of it
Level up and there are giant arrows and fingers pointing at multiple different menus and game systems on the screen it wants you to interact with, all the while meteors are raining from the sky..... I mean... who the hell thought this through

A nice alternative to POE. Great game play, enough complexity to be enjoyable. End game seems to have enough variety to keep you interested.

Very fun game!

Failed to launch without disabled virus protection. Played in slow motion. Advertisements for DLC before every fight. Apparently you only get a small handful of characters without paying for more.

Terrible.
