Completely updating my review.

My major problem here is Thea 1 did pretty much everything better. That's a personal opinion and I'm sticking to it.
The major problem I have with the game I've realized is the combat system. The card game of Thea 1 was simple and took trial and error to figure out. (as someone who's bad at reading instructions)
Thea 2 has a more complicated combat and it feels so much slower compared to Thea 1.

The redeeming quality in Thea 2 is that I can just auto combat the fights and it does tell me if I'm going to lose or win and how badly or well.

The problem is that I'll never have as much satisfaction from equipping a guy with high level gear because I'll never see him in combat.

Can't get too much into the ending since that would spoil any would be player but...

I wish there would have been more options (maybe there is if I 100% the game I don't know).

It's all the good halos. Absolutely no reason to not buy especially when on sale.

Democracy wins once again.

What can I say that you haven't heard before? You can do the funny to your friends. The game isn't that scary except when you get left alone.

It will take you little while to get comfortable with the controls and then it will take you a while to find your Armored Core build. That's why you can replay missions and get money like that in case you ever run out of it.
If you're here because of Fromsoftwares previous games (elden ring, dark souls etc) I can recommend this. The game isn't similar but the method to beat it is.

The story is surprisingly interesting too. Don't know what the ending meant but that's nothing new with fromsoft.

The real reason to play the game though is the difference it has to dark souls: Styling on your enemies. With the right guns and right moves you can kill EVERY boss quickly and in style. This is why the game has new game + and new game ++. During new game + you get to choose more difficult missions along the line. After you've played through all arena challenges and finnished both ending you enter new game ++. At this point you should be STYLING on all your enemies and the feeling is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.

The game is STILL UNFINISHED! Lack of content, bug fixes and optimization! The loading screens are minutes long and the story of the game is nothing.
The gameplay is pretty fun but the game is just unfinished in so many aspects that I can't recommend it!

Fun overwatch like game. Needs more players though, so please do try it.

Quick tip for starting players: Turn A gundam grab counters melee mechs. (Turn A is the one with the mustache)

Talk to me when you do something with Necropolis. At least lower the price it's been 6 years
