So many great improvements to CS over 1.6 and CSGO and they've been pretty consistent with bug fixes since releasing a less-than-polished game. Unfortunately VAC is a joke, hackers run rampant in ranked play on "secured" servers, way more than CSGO.

Steam keeps asking me if I'd like to change my review because I'm a sucker and keep playing so here it is:
Subtick is a joke. Their matchmaking servers have gotten significantly worse over than last couple months. Every other match, I'll either frag out (getting kills where I should be, win or lose), or have laughably bad hit reg. Go back and watch your demos and you'll see that when you know that guy should've been dead, dumped 5+ rounds out at someone, the server only acknowledged 1 or 2 shots. "What you see is what you get" only applies to their complete disregard of the issue while they greedily rake in money from marketplace. That's what we get. And for F#*& sake get some GD servers in Dallas already.

Game is unplayable because there are are blatant hackers speeding around the map shooting people through walls in every game I join. EA does absolutely nothing to prevent this.

Game is ridden with problems and bugs. Crashes about every 2 hours like clockwork with a "DirectX" error (trust me I've explored all options in fixing this. 20+ year PC gaming enthusiast). My friends with completely different PC builds than I have the same problem. Menu is built for console and nightmare-ish for PC users. Cross-play results in console users with aim assist essentially doing 180 instant head shots while my screen doesn't show them even looking near me. Camo unlock requirements encourage douchy game play instead of skill. Game filters are basically non-existent so you can't even avoid the disastrous maps the incompetent developers force upon you without abandoning lobbies constantly. Developers continue to concentrate on creating more pay-to-play content rather than fixing known issues. But since I already paid $70 for this disaster and I enjoy talking ♥♥♥♥ about how terrible the game is with my friends, I'll see you clumped up for the long shots I guess.
