My Experience/Review of Breachers

So having played in the open alpha and beta play tests, and now owning the game since release. I would say it's a pretty decent game as it stands and I do recommend getting it for yourself. (At the time of writing this the game has only been out for barely two days and more updates are to come so keep this in mind.)

Here's a couple of things I've noticed since launch.

1.) Spacial Audio Issues
Now since the play tests to the now fully released game, I will admit the audio has gotten loads better. But there is definitely still some issues when it comes to hearing your team members foot steps much easier than the enemy's foot steps, even when they're almost right next to you. The audio for team and enemy foot steps should either be the same volume, or switched.

2.) Where'd the Compass go?
There was a compass that used to be attached to your wrist making it easier for you to communicate with your team mates as to which direction to enter the building from (attacking), or say where they're entering from (defending). I haven't fully gone through the settings again to see if they've made it so you can toggle it on your wrist or not yet so this might change.

3.) No Tutorial for New Players
At this current moment in time the only way for someone to learn the game is "trial by fire" in a sense. They're basically having to rely on team members to understand the game mechanics and how they work. Even something like tool tips would be helpful, and maybe just adding a toggle in the settings to disable them.

4.) Gun Play
The gun play is actually quite nice for a newer VR Tact-Shooter, and it's quite refreshing if I'm being honest. It's very rewarding for hitting head shots. So for all the VR shooter head hunters out there, you'll have a great time with this game.

5.) The Community
The community is absolutely amazing. Obviously you're going to run into kids being this game is on both PCVR and Quest. But when you're in the right lobby, it could be the highlight of your day (or the absolute rock bottom depending on which side you got).

With Breachers only having been released for two days, for what it is I couldn't recommend it more right now. It is honestly enjoyable (all be it with the issues it has). As stated prior the community is great, the developers are working hard on updating the game while talking with the community and getting their input as to what people want/like the most about the game.
