Looks more like an egg then a potato

This game is so fun to play, its just sad that its dead

Whistleblower is not a DLC; Outlast Whistleblower is a different product.
Set in the same environment as the first one, with the events happening a little earlier than the ones in the main game, this does not feel like the typical DLC you would get with your regular AAA games nowadays. This is arguably a scarier and even grosser experience, filled with new places to visit in the Asylum and new bone-chilling characters to meet.

There is nothing more I can say for the DLC as it's simply a whole new experience in the same universe with the same feel and looks. It's more Outlast 1, but better at times.

It probably wasn't hard to see how much of a fan I am for this game, but trust me, I am hard to be satisfied, so when I tell you this game can not be beaten 'till today, I am not lying. Outlast is something that I will always keep sincerely in my heart. I love it.

10/10 MASTERPIECE <3 - Both the main game and the DLC

This was probably the most fun I've had playing a horror game in a good while. Jump scares are definitely not the only things that will give you the chills, this game has strong atmosphere, and lurking around to avoid being seen by enemies can be some of the creepiest parts of the game, and can be terrifying when you're being chased.

The game also has enough meat to it to put all of it's mechanics to good use without ever feeling underplayed or gimmicky. I also feel that the game does a good job of making you care about the main character's well being, he goes through so much crap in this game that it makes it all the more motivating to keep going and see what happens next. I wont say more, overall I highly recommend this to horror fans, it's pretty awesome.

I only bought this because of Mad Moxxi.

I found this DLC very short (it took me about 5 hours to finish everything) but still quite fun and I enjoyed playing it

This DLC isnt all that great for the most part its just a lot of driving from A to B, butt at the end the armory is really good, especially you can refarm it.And also you get to fight Crawmarex.

I would rather vote as neutral review.

First off, i was never a fan of endless battles in ANY game, it ruins the enjoyment of gameplay, it makes you tired, it makes you wish you could drop this mode already but your characters are still alive, and there are more monsters coming and you dont wanna quit right now because loot is nearly there. Than it repeats again like MADNESS.

Now this is the only main thing i dislike

I actually like everything else.
New monsters for different strategies!
New Horrifying Bosses...
New SRSLY HELPFUL events
New helpful currency, when you dont have enough materials to upgrade building or to build ... statues? (forgot how the called)
New trinkets, but sadly most of them are for endless mode only
New madness dialogues.
New 5(!!!!) musics with Alien vibes!
New roaming mini-boss.... actually wait, i hate it. He is as hard as Shambler, so you better hope you dont meet him... if you dont want big loot though.
and finally... NEW ANCESTOR QUOTES!

So basicly yeah, devs put a lot of great effort into this DLC, this DLC actually rewards you with big treasures. If only it wasn't a main boring idea of endless grinding.
