As a Star Trek fan, I was excited for this game. The potential for something akin to Birth of the Federation, but with a modern take on it in the vein of Stellaris. It was not that. It was a poorly done reskin of Stellaris. Two of the primary reasons I purchased this game are because it was Star Trek, and because it was published by Paradox. The level of disappointment I feel when I see this game in my library is palpable.

At just under 80 hours I'm having a blast.

The tutorial is definitely still in need of some love. I got more out of going out and doing things, than I did in the tutorial. I still can't seem to get the Build/Repair tool to actually work.

I'm just jumped into custom ship building and find the controls to be a little rough to get the hang of; however, as I use them more, I become better acquainted with them.

If you don't mind experience bugs, hop into this game.

I'd be happy to provide much more specific feedback for a dev.

This game is amazingly fun. The base game is great when you add all the DLC/Expansions, but when you add in the mods available from the community, it's "fun" quotient skyrockets. There are some problems with the game though; namely, you'll experience hardcore slowdown in the late mid-game and late-game unless you have a beefy PC, and even then, you might still experience it. The other huge con to this game is that most patches tend to bork the game pretty seriously, even though PDX tries to fix everything in a timely manner.

I have a problem.

I get so focused on mining the F*CK out of asteroids. I mean, I spend hours coming up with these ridiculous mining platforms. Mine the asteroid and move on to the next.

I would play on planets, but my computer has a heart attack when I do. Upgrade at tax time!

Love this game.

Best game ever! Especially with its mods!
