The best sonic game to release in years. Sonic sections are fantastic, shadow sections are even better. Sonic finally has a direction to go in again, and I really hope they look at this twice and just make it again. All I want is more.

Is the best roguelike I've ever played. Not a fan of the genre but clearly pushes it forward with the roll out of storytelling.

Its not the RPG people wanted. Balder's Gate 3 got to be that level of RPG. What this became, was the greatest virtual city ever designed. I have never seen something so dense with detail in every single possible corner, street, alley way, apartment, sewer, lobby, and city center. It is insane, this is the next generation game people would hope to see, and CDPR did not forget. In my opinion this game is fully redeemed. Combat is amazing and fairly deep, weapons feel fantastic, and the mods add an extra layer if you wanna jump into it.

The story, while not varying too much in your choices till the last few hours, will drag you in with its insanely well animated characters, and flavored dialogue. This game makes you feel like you are in Night City. You are a merc, your name is V, and you get to just be V, and all that he/she comes with.

If you like open world games, and sci-fi settings this shouldn't be missed, there isn't anyone else doing anything like this as well as CDPR. This seamless, with this much style. It really is something to behold.

This is one of those games that gives you the perfect feeling of terror and interest whenever you turn a corner. You never know what you are going to find when you start traveling. Every time I think I've found everything there is to find when it comes to exploring there is always something different. This game deserves for you to go in blind. It's full of secrets down to the core of every planet. To avoid saying to much, if you feel like exploring something, check this out.

Back when this game launched, it released directly between Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, and Battlefield 1. Kinda damned it to marketing defeat. I had a lot of friends that took up the other two games instead of jumping into this. But I didn't I jumped head first in to TF2 and never regretted a single thing. This game is one of the most well thought out and polished games I've ever played. Its a Mech game, and a gun holding Ninja game. This combo works so damn well its absolutely criminal it didn't get it's time in the sun. As of writing this review the game has hit NUMBER ONE on steam's global top sellers chart.

10/10 Campaign, that builds on mechanics and every level has a new spin. 10/10 deeply satisfying easy to learn, hard to master multiplayer. You should have played this in 2016, you got the chance to play it now. Jump in. See you on the Frontier.

So as of 31 hours and playing this game pretty consistently for a year on and off as life has taken me for a ride. This game has been a great one to sink into. The lack of FOV for the cockpit, and no ultrawide support shuts down a pretty fantastic game. There are work arounds for the problem, just don't expect to play multiplayer, but that's not where I go to have fun anyways. The singleplayer is absolutely fantastic. Each mission giving you a new spin on core gameplay. New enemy types to dog fight, new things to bomb, no environmental effects to give you added flight challenge. The volumetric clouds in this game are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful to look and and fly thought, long gone are the days of 2d sky boxes. This game takes immersive combat to an entirely new level. Down to it's mechanics, this game is not a simulator, it's arcade, but the controls feel extremely fluid, and if you move over to the more sim-like control scheme, you will be rewarded with some of the most elegant and fluid looking dogfighting combat I have ever seen. If you want a gorgeous flight combat game, with great level design and story. This is it. Here's to hoping Ace Combat 8 pulls all this off again, with a little more support towards the PC side of things.

One last thing, the VR potential for this game is so insanely high, that if you can mod a VR to work this this game. It'll probably hit as the best VR cockpit experience on the market. The level of detail as rain drops slide across the glass and other effects on the wings and such make this game perfect for that genre.
