Can't go wrong with this game, they finally got it right again after a disappointment with Trine 3.

Game's beautiful as ever and with so many complex puzzles and mechanics introduced each new areas give new surprise to complete. To be honest it's the best aspect of Trine 4, from deflecting light, to attaching ropes and conjuring some blocks to complete a seemingly impossible area, they did this one right. Will look forward to how they improve it in Trine 5 (if any).

Now if there's any criticism... I think the combat mode is pretty weak. Only Pontius is really useful in the game, Zoya is so so, and Amadeus is only good as a sandbag. While it's to be expected given their role, I don't think Amadeus could be that useless. Given combat mode isn't the main star of the game though, I think I can forgive it.

You can also play co-op but matchmaking is kinda dead, so get some friends to play.

Trine 4's main story is about 7-8 hours long, around 12 hours if you want to complete it perfectly (secrets are annoying though...) and it doesn't include new story/DLCs. The game's consistently on sale, so you can grab it cheap.

Don't forget that the game's best played on a gamepad.

This is on sale right now, but even if it doesn't Frozenbyte's lineups are often on sale. And it's good, the composer is the same as previous Trine's OSTs, the consistency is there, the ambivalence and rhythm are in line with the magical game itself.

Can't go wrong with this purchase, recommended.

An extremely fun casual game to pass time. All you need is to select your plague, spend DNA, infect human, kill them all to win in a very presentable and extremely simple HUD and menu. As you progress, you'll unlock more traits and extra plagues and an even harder modes -- more often than not you'll be annoyed with its RNG.

And not all plagues are the same. While two or three may have similar traits and conditions to win, the rest do not. Simian Flu, for example, requires you to micromanage your colonies and plague more, while my favorite Shadow Plague features Vampire to fly around the globe to fight templar and spread diseases at the same time. Honestly I think the default set of plagues are pretty creative and funny, not so funny if you're defeated repeatedly though.

If you're done with the the main game, there's Official Scenarios to beat and more can be downloaded from the workshop. You might also want to try co-op with either friends or through Steam's matchmaking service to play with other random people.

Don't forget they recently released a brand new mode as free DLC during pandemic, grab it while you can... and probably you can for a long time since the pandemic is here to stay for a long time.

Overall, this is a very well maintained and developed game I can recommend to everyone. 8.5/10

While I basically recommend this soundtrack, haunting and tense, I recommend you to only buy this on sale as this package does not contain lossless files.

The Developer does update this package multiple times when they add new contents to the game.

I usually have soft spot for Metroidvania, but this one doesn't get my vote.

While the art direction is promising, it falls short. Environment and levels are too dark, characters' facial animation look so stiff and often some areas feel so dull.

Dialogues are cringe-worthy, sorry need a better writer for that. Story is so so, not worth remembering for.

Gameplay is unfogiving and a simple mistake or parry will often cost you your life. Consider this as a 2D-Sekiro. Not necessarily bad, but some people don't want to be frustrated trying again and again.

Playing with controller is recommended and this game supports my XBOX Controller just fine.

This game doesn't have Steam Cloud save, big turn off since it's easy to delete your save by accident, and setting up the cloud save should be 5 min job for the game developer there's no excuse for that.

Overall, the game does not meet my standard, can't recommend it.

Dang did they give fun content for free?

This DLC is surprisingly refreshing, instead of adding more weird aspect to the game, we now take different position -- to develop a cure for a pandemic.

The mechanics surprisingly mirror that of real life. I don't know if they are being genuine while developing or taking a p*ss hah.

Do NOT read further if you haven't completed Steins;Gate and 0 previously as I will talk freely but not Darling's Embrace spoiler.

This Steins;Gate takes place between the original Steins;Gate and 0, before the judgement day when Okabe leaves to the past to prevent Kurisu's death. That said, while it retains so much familiarity, story and characters, it has no relation at all with the original timeline, this Steins;Gate is more about side story.

The story incorporates PhoneWave cleverly to manipulate the timeline so as the stories diverge. But thankfully, unlike the original, the divergence point is easy to track and does not need you to multiple save to save time. There are six scenarios (Kurisu, Moeka, Faris, Suzuha, Luka and finally Mayuri's) included in this game, which are all accessible through early choices in the first chapter thus streamlining the process to complete the game. To be frank, what I like the most from this Darling's Embrace is this story is actually fun to follow, heartwarming and many humor involved. The original's gloomy, and 0 is even more gloom and doom I got actually pressured to keep reading for 40-50 hours each game, so Darling's Embrace is a breath of fresh air.

Gameplay is all the same as ever, using your phone to send messages to PhoneWave, and the game emphasizes on reading as usual. Game's fully voiced too and with familiar voice actors/tress you can expect. At the moment I'm still playing with controller and I gotta say the implementation of button assignment is perfect, so recommended to play while sitting on your couch. Standard achievements and collections like CGs/Hints are still there for completionist to get, but it will take some time and skips to get them all.

Overall there's nothing wrong with the Steins;Gate and it has no glaring issue like Elite where they had to patch the game after many people complaining because it was unplayable. This game's a solid 8.5/10.

Honestly, Among Us is a decent casual party game and that's its strongest point. If it wasn't for that, because multitudes of issues in this game, I'd have given this a negative score. Among Us really needs a major improvement soon, mainly on its team/room function, in-game voice chat, server latency, scoring/profile/account (to be consistent cross-platform like Dead by Daylight for example) system and invite system.

And of course cheaters.

DLCs are okay I guess, they're mainly cosmetic and do not interfere with your gameplay even if you don't buy it, I still don't like you need to buy that one DLC to get new map, though.

Overall, it's a nice game to play over Discord with friends.

Short and decent visual novel.

While the plot is largely boring and thematically common, at least they put a good production value into the art and the atmosphere.

This VN is fairly short, a mere half hour if you're a quick reader you can finish it even faster. It's best to play with controller -- XBOX Controller is supported natively -- so you can sit back and enjoy the story.

The last achievement was a bit annoying for me though, had to dig guide for that.
