Way to unforgiving and non engaging mechanics.

Very well put together and useful program to create your own games and play others! Fun and easy userface, and the multiplayer function is very handy and efficient! Recommend highly!

I think it's really immature that all ARK fans are heading over to DD2 and dropping bad reviews with only like 2 hours of gameplay just because of the lawsuit that is going on.

But if you want a real review, I will give you one on this game as well.

1. It is WAY too easy to lose everything you have invested hours into getting. One turtle or raptor, (or anything angry) shows up, you are dead. Plain and simple. And good luck in finding where you died again, or if you do find it, even better luck finding your belongings that have somehow relocated.

2. The grind is intense! In order to get to the part that makes ARK an even enjoyable game, you have to grind your way to being even able to walk into the forest. And not Minecraft grind where you actually enjoy collecting and exploring while you gain items and strength, but shaking bushes grind. Hundreds of bushes. And that is with the rate of fruit set to high....... Oh, and you have to purchase the ability to grind more. Need a house? Buy that ability. Now go try and find what you need, weak fragile human... And now your dead.

3. Not surprising, but the mods are the best thing about this game, and even they don't quite get the game to the level of being worth buying.


All in all, if you like grinding countless hours just to able to actually play the game as it was designed, than be my guest. Otherwise, do not waste your time and money.

This is an awesome game combing great games like Reign of Fire, The Old Republic, and Halo Wars all into one! A must have!
