It's basically when castlevania meets touhou (no I didn't say anything about touhouvania here), but with a hammer instead of a whip, and combos!
I'll just go straight to the pros cons of this game, just like my other reviews.

pros:
+ challenging, yet fun at the same time, I died a lot in this game but it's still fun to play.
+ open world system, which the thing that remind me of castlevania (especially SoTN and Sorrow series).
+ the musics are awesome, I regret that I didn't buy the UPRPRC edition instead, but I'll going to buy the rest of the DLC as soon as I have enough money for it or maybe when it's going on sale.
+ cute artworks and pixel art.
+ they have donut as a consumable item.

cons:
- none, I love this game, this game can be frustrating at times but you know you'll get into this game again eventually.

and also I just want to say, I'm not a hardcore gamer, more like a casual gamer, but I can finish touhou on lunatic mode, but when I play this game, I died so many times when I fought harder bosses in this game, even on normal mode, so don't expect if this game would be easy for you unless you're a hardcore gamer or someone who just love challenges.

just finished the game, so I think I should make some review here.
well, even though I just finished the story, but here we go.

first of all, actually I bought this game just for the idolm@ster DLC (don't ask me why), and I didn't feel interested to buy this game at all, since I thought Tales of series with 3D battle was bad, just like Tales of Innocence, I felt the control was a bit weird but I finished the game anyway.
And so yeah, I bought this game too anyway, since it was 75% off.

that was the intro, without further ado, here it comes the pros and cons.

pros:
+ gameplay is actually fun, it's far better than tales of innocence one actually, they really did a good job converting tales of battle into 3D this time.
+ just like other tales of games, you can do some various combos in this game.
+ armatize feature which is a unique thing in the game, you know you can't do this in other tales of games, and elemental advantage and disadvantage also exist.
+ dungeon trials with challenging puzzles are also exist.
+ Epic BGMs (because Go Shiina man.) - especially in Earth Trial.
+ really good character building.
+ quality jokes, everytime, in cutscenes, skits, post-battles, etc, mostly you'll find those quality jokes. (especially Edna's).
+ quality story as always, with almost no cliche, and pretty memorable too (can't explain how awesome it is, since it's may contain spoilers as well, just look it for yourself).
+ different route with the anime, actually if you think you're already watched the anime so you won't have to finish the game, you are clearly wrong, both titles have different route, and they're good in their own way. (wait, probably everyone already know this too.)
+ New Game+ for those who need more Zestiria.
+ plenty of good DLCs.

cons:
- fps, lol, mostly ppl will have trouble with this, check the community hub, though, they have the fix/patcher.
- there is no OST DLC.
- most people will be dissapointed when Alisha leaves the party, and thought that Alisha is the main heroine willing she would come back to the party in the end.
- little bit expensive, even Berseria is actually cheaper than this (and Berseria have better performance too), only get Zestiria when it's on sale.

I guess that's all, sorry I can't make a longer review than this, and I apologize for the grammatical mistakes. it's the wind trial, after all.

Overall rating: 7/10

- it's so short, better buy this when on sale
- no trading cards

I'm a simple man, I see nep nep sequel, I press purchase.

Too bad my spec doesn't meet minimum system requirements, I can't even run on 30fps.
but overall it's still good if you have a good PC, if we're talking about graphics here then,
it's better, much better than the previous games, as expected PS4 game.

I'm sorry I don't have much playtimes in this game, I refunded this game, will buy this again when I got a better PC.

great game, this is exactly what I dreamed about.
when fast paced mech game come to pc with keyboard+mouse control, it's so amazing.
I played few games like Windom XP, Cosmic Break, SD Gundam Online, etc. but I think this game is still much better, no fps drop even though I can only play on really low fps like 30 (just because my laptop is old), but I can still enjoy this game with no regret that I bought this game.

pros:
+ fast paced action, just like everyone said if you like gundam or aldnoah or whatever you'll definitely like this game.
+ control is better and easier than I thought, haven't tried it yet with controller but so far I have no problem with keyboard+mouse, and I think I prefer playing it this way.
+ full audio, make your battle frames piloting more exciting, you probably know why.
+ you won't find a mech game better than this on pc.

cons:
- japanese voices only available when you're playing japanese version of the game, for some people who love japanese dub better than english dub or whatever, they probably will be dissapointed, but no problem for me tbh.

neutral:
- no multiplayer
- no steam trading cards
- no achievements
^ I heard 'the developer will add multiplayer in this game' somewhere, I don't remember, I hope it's true.

After finished Kotori's Route, I decided to write a review here.
Current Route: none, already finished them all, finally.

+ As you can see in screenshots, graphics are nice, they are well drawn,
Backgrounds are also pretty detail, it's very good.
+ Musics are also relaxing, probably you should buy the OSTs too.
+ Did a good job on controlling player's emotions.
+ Characters are well represented.
+ Voice overs for every characters (except MC).
+ Stories are not monotone.
+ Playtime is pretty long.
+ Romance
+ Glider Simulator

- Bugs
- Mistype
- Some grammar may be broken too. (even my review probably)

"do you have twin?" what? I think Kotori says "ふたごシスターズは？" which means "Where is the twin sisters?" something like that.
and that bottom sentece I don't really get what that means.

Mr. Tobioka is a woman now? It's not once but look, they refered Mr. Tobioka like a woman several times.

well, actually there are more of it, but it's too many that probably you should see it yourself, typos and stuffs.

Those numbers means the order how I finished the game

1. Kotori - SADDEST ROUTE

Conflicts everywhere, and this route was legit make me cry, means Kotori's route the best route, and you'll see Aoi looks very cool in this route too, you better see it yourself.

2. Amane - SAFEST ROUTE

less conflict, you won't see the demolished garage and stuff, it's just Amane's problem with Isuka and Tobioka, and you can see Isuka is made an appearance only in this route, this route went smoother than Kotori's.

3. Asa - LOLI ROUTE

of course, you'll have a loli girlfriend here, and aside of that, in this route they're rarely talk about Soaring Club or even the glider, even though the glider made an appearance again in the end, but they're mostly talks about triangle love between Aoi, Asa and Yoru, even Amane rarely made an appearance in here, but Kanako is sure often appear in this route, and also more less conflict than those route before.

4. Yoru - LOLI HAREM ROUTE

you know, it's like Asa+Yoru route, not only Yoru route. Similar to Asa's route but +Yoru and more less conflict, means this route is the most boring route, ever.
Or is it just because I finished those dramatic route first? You can guess.

5. Ageha - NORMAL ROUTE

like typically harem anime and stuff, things just went normal in this route, the most normal route, with some expected conflict, and harem feels too, it's just normal, it's like harem anime with 'finally main character have a couple'. And this is also the most hilarious route. Ageha best gurl

tl;dr : Kotori best route, Ageha best gurl.

New characters(except byakuya but he is fatter), new environment, new atmosphere.
even the first case feels twisted, looking forward for the next cases.
10/10 gotta play some more.

EDIT: I finished the game! no actually, only the story, but yeah it's kind of unexpected, well if you enjoy the first game or probably the anime of the first series then you'll really enjoy this one.

nice game! only need 0.6 hrs of playtime to finish this game, or probably faster than that.

so I change my opinion about this app, and flip my thumbs up.

Pros:
- Character Generator!
even in VXA you'll find this, but the characters will look creepy, in MV, the characters will look cooler and you can also generate the battle sprites, it's cool.
- SBS Default
when in VXA you should insert a custom script to make the battle become side view battle, in MV you can just do it in one click.
- Multiplatform
not only Windows for now, you can also export it to Mac/OSX and Android/iOS, haven't try these yet, but someone said that there is no "encrypt" thing, so you should use a third-party software to encrypt your game.

there is no resource manager in the app, so you should add some resources manually from explorer.
- no script editor
you should edit/create a script from text editor (notepad, notepad++, sublime, etc.) for some developer maybe won't care about this, but well this is my opinion.

it's not Ruby/RGSS anymore, it's javascript so it could increase more compatibility when exported to web/android/iOS maybe.
- 48x48 tiles
can be a problem for some artist maybe.
- autolayer
they use autolayer for mapping, similar to VX/Ace mapping style but the B/C/D/E tile won't replaced when the other B/C/D/E tile is placed.
