Walked in not knowing what anything in the Monster Hunter series was.

Walked out with every Monster Hunter game I own a console for.

Someone's going to look over your shoulder and wonder what you're doing, playing "this retro game from 2008." (actual quote from one of my friends) You'll silently buy them the game, and then get roped into playthrough after playthrough after playthrough. It never ends. The game itself is amazing, and can be modded for even more fun - although I personally enjoy the vanilla game. There's something for everyone to do, from collection, to boss battles, to making the most ridiculous automatic contraptions (I'm looking at you, hoik machine). The replayability is amazing, and Terraria is pretty much my #1 game in terms of money spent vs hours played.

Simply put, play the game. It's amazing.
