THIS IS HOYLE CASINO 2004 AND IT HAS NOT BEEN ALTERED OR UPDATED IN ANY WAY!.

Bitterly dissapointed by what could have been a brilliant trip down nostalgia lane. I played the Hoyle Casino games for hours growing up and was super excited to revisit them for the first time since.

There has been 0 change made to these games since their first release. This is literally Hoyle Casino 2004 even down to the name on the .exe file.

You cannot change the screen res from 1024 x 768 even using the config in the games files

There is no widescreen support

I have no idea where they got the bear, texas cowboy and store things from in their description because THEY ARE NOT IN THIS GAME IT IS A DIFFERENT GAME.

The audio options are broken and don't change

This is one of the games you start with the intention of playing for a couple of hours then when you actually decide enough is enough it's not even the same week you started the game in. This is one of the all-time greatest strategy games I've ever played, if you can get past the far too in-depth tutorial and somewhat steep learning curve you can really enjoy this game. Every game takes weeks to complete and I've yet to actually finish one but it's still still one of my all time favourites.

This game aside from being one of the greatest looking games I can think of is just one hell of masterpiece. I've never really been this immersed in a game before and for that I have to thank the incredible first person camera and the neckbreaking pace. Combat lacks a little bit but it's more than forgiveable the length however is less forgiveable, you can complete this in about 8 hours if you get the knack of it relatively quickly, the fans are campaigning for Mirror's Edge 2 but it's starting to seem more and more of a pipe dream as EA ignore what could've been a top notch series.

This game really is the low point in terms of morals and taste, It's disgusting, grotesque, repulsive and because of that it's bloody brilliant. This game lets you play as "Postal Dude" your average joe wearing a trenchcoat that wants to go absoloutly beserk on an entire town for no reason apart from the fact that he has to do a list of chores everyday. There's 2 ways to play the game, one is to actually do his chores such as picking up a paycheck, taking back a library book or even visiting (and pissing on) his dads gravestone. It's a really fun open world game and the freedom you get in terms of choosing the way to kill your victims is provides a little bit of twisted fun. You can even pick up the local cats and attach them as silencers to your guns.

This movie is truly incredible. I'm a huge fan of both documentaries and indie gaming so when this became availible as part of the Humble Bundle it had me reaching for the ol' bankcard before I'd even seen the other games included. I've always been interested into the development aspect behind games but hadn't really researched it in any depth and aside from the childhood dreams of one day making games for a living I really didn't know much about development. This movie interviews some of the most prominent people in the Indie Game movement there's the creator of Braid, the creators of Super Meat Boy and the creator of the long awaited title Fez. It shows the sheer turmoil these men put themselves through in-terms of working ludicrously long hours trying to create the next build of their game or even just trying to squash bugs that have been putting their stress levels at all an all time high for months. This documentary had me totally captivated from start to finish and I highly recommend you give it a watch.

I picked this up as part of the recently ended Humble Bundle and I have to say it's bloody fantastic I'd even pay full price for it. What you're getting here is a game very similar to titles such as Orcs Must Die or Sanctum in that it's a tower defense game that lets you attack using your own characters weapons aswell. Dungeon Defenders wins the award in the best out of these 3 purely due to the massive replay value. Just look at the DLC that's availible and it's all really affortable. If you're looking for a game in this genre you really can't go wrong with Dungeon Defenders.

The closest you'll get to Mario Kart on the PC. The developers NimbleBit are now renowned for their mobile games but this is where they started. They may deny it now but they really had something here and it's a shame to see that there is no additional support. There could've been tons of DLC in-terms of both cosmetic items or tracks. The online feature here is incredible it's a great game to play with a group of friends, myself and a few friends played this every day for weeks before it got repitive. Even then a few of us loved it so much we tried to create our own tracks by looking through the map files built-in to the game. If the four pack is on sale it's a must buy for sure but it will get repitive after a while.

Now this right here, if you're a fan of racing games is the holy grail. It's reckless, it's fast and it's huge!. A massive map just full of possibilites to pull insane stunts, smash your fellow drivers into piles of aluminum rubble. Take it up in the expansive single player which may be repitivie at times but allows you to unlock some seriously breath-taking cars and motorbikes then take those veichles and show them to the world through the online mode. Paradise city is just waiting for you to tear it apart.

"JETTT SETTT RADIOOOO" This game is hailed by the critics and it's fan-base as one of the greatest games ever and yet very few people have ever heard of it. I myself didn't even know of it's existence since I saw this HD remake on Steam, the colours, the sountrack, the idea of a game that's basically TF2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Mark Ecko's Getting Up is a bloody masterpiece. This is well worth buying especially at the £3 price it's at right now.

If you're a fan of Football/Soccer or even just strategy games then this is an ideal purchase. Like all sports management games there's an intense learning curve and the UI is incredibly unforgiving. This is truly more of an interactive Excel spreadsheet than a game but if you stick with it, learn to really suceed at it, It's one hell of a game.
