If you like Indiana Jones & stealth you'll like this game. Combat isn't the best and performance ain't great but not terrible. Story is interesting. I don't know if I would tell someone to pay $70 for this, but it's worth it on sale for sure.

edit: NOT worth $70, it's fun and the story is good, better than the last two movies. However, the gameplay gets pretty stale after the first like 5 hours. It never changes. Still I recommend it on sale.

Imagine a game that is designed around you dying a lot. Now imagine every time you die, your max HP goes down. That is Dark Souls 2. This game punishes you for trying to do anything. How could someone sit at a desk and come up with such a dumb decision is beyond me. True talent.

Hit registration is horrible as well. Dark Souls games are not hard, they are just poorly designed to disguise it as "hard"

turns out the hit reg being ass is a new stat that only exists in this game so you have to level it up
while after a certain point losing health doesn't matter that much, still annoying game mechanic that shouldn't exist in the first place

this might actually be my favorite of the three dark souls games but they're all ass

I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fathom how someone put themselves in crippling debt to go to school and get a BA, only come up with the Call of Duty launcher at their job. It is truly amazing how someone could come up with such a piece of ♥♥♥♥. My favorite feature is when they shove the 30 gb update down my throat for a game I don't even own.

get a friend, open up webfishing, and drink a beer, truly nothing like it

games multiplayer is pretty much unplayable with 4 people, everyone is desynced at all times
