Pretty unique spin for a horror game. Every cabin is the same premise, but some are haunted with anomalies. It's your job to scout the cabins and determine if the cabin you're in is haunted or not... which, you will find out the hard way. It really makes you question if the scares waiting inside the cabin is truly an enjoyable waste of your time lol (definitely is). Not entirely sure if adding a story/lore element to this is necessary, but it doesn't detract. I haven't 100% it, but I'm sure you could get a couple hours of unsettling scares if you cycle through every haunted cabin.

Thoroughly enjoyed messing beachgoer's days up. The progression from baby shark to behemoth whale-eating monster was fun from start to end. Plenty of quests/challenges/bosses to take on, lots of objectives scaling in difficulty. I would say the game does a great job presenting harder enemies early game to give that satisfying payout when you can easily take them down later on.

Only critique I would say is once reaching elderhood, the game clearly reaches its ceiling. You figure out by spamming attack you can pretty quickly take down enemies especially if you've buffed your shark all the way to max. Not a con if you enjoy the thrill of getting overpowered revenge in an ocean that once haunted you. I wish there was an option to 'reset' the playthrough at the end and become a baby shark to experience growing up in a different area of the map, since once the story is finished, that's pretty much it.

Still 10/10, got 20 hours out of a pretty cheap experience (bought on sale for $10).

Get to the top of Cheese Cube Unlimited to put on the Iron Man suit. Simply put, game holds up in 2023.

About what to expect from a free indie title. I honestly enjoyed it, and had no trouble getting invested in the mechanics, controls, and world the game sets up. Very simplistic but well executed. My only gripe is I never made it to the ladder, as this game is pretty difficult. Since the stage is randomly generated, I have no clue if I'm getting close to the end, or if I still have another five minutes of running around hoping I don't have to deal with another centipede with my 3 remaining bullets.

Probably will come back and give it another shot when I have more time, but pretty solid game!

Truly feels as if multiplayer was added to the original SCP:CB. There's some problems indicative of a new project such as spawn issues, map glitches, problems loading the game at certain optimizations, and oversights in game mechanics, but when playing the game at its best, it's the most fun I've had in a while. With a couple updates of tlc, would be a 5/5.
