Update: 6 Hours after release a patch was released it fixed everything, I swear people don't have any patience these days, I can run the game on max now


Game runs fine if you took 5 minutes to google the right settings, dont let the reviews steer you away from this game, thr devs eill fix performance, with the fixes available online its near stutter free.

This is an amazing game with amazing gameplay, Dont be a sheep and make it work :p

Great game, don't buy it

I can already hear you thinking why?
Don't let me play time here fool you i have played this game for years on Xbox before i moved back to PC and one thing hasn't changed despite my 3K Euro hardware upgrade, and that is the performance of Stellaris,

To put it blindly its horrible, Very poorly optimized, the game is amazing and i could play it for days on end but not when it stutters after 2 hours of play, This has been going on for 6 years now, ask any regular players, even with the game on lowest settings and with performance optimizing mods it still grinds to a slow crawl near mid game, The developers answer to this is to push more and more DLC.

Buying this game will only strengthen that decision for them.

This game runs better on Linux than Windows i have tried both and Xbox they all have the performance issues.

It has to do with the fact that the game is very poorly optimized, Take my advice, wait untill they fix this or get the game dirt cheap the full price is not worth it, Especially for the DLC

Simple, Addictive and limitless replay potential, Overall great package.

This game is amazing, Its so much more better than VRChat, I switched over yesterday and already met awesome people that showed me the coolest things!

Even the younger players on here are cool and mature, i can actually have meaningful intelligent conversations on here without some kid screaming or someone blasting sounds over their mic.

With time this will become something truly great, just make sure you have someone to show you around:)

Honestly they need to remove EAC but not for the reasons you think, Mainly because it breaks the software on any platform not running windows, Mainly Linux. I have had extensive conversations with the dev's on their sub reddit and Discord yet they fail to offer any transparency on patching using steamDB i also found out that when i asked for information regarding the patch on the 13th they denied any knowledge of a patch being pushed that day, while SteamDB tells a completely different story.

It is this lack of community intrest/engagement that is the downfall of this game, i hope a alternative takes off and replaces this game, since this is almost as bad as Denuvo

Together with Dead Space this is one of the best space single player games out there.
Amazing deep story with many mysteries to find out, stellar presentation and dialogue.

You will have to bite trough the first two hours but once you reach the second area this game really opens up, The story writing is amazing with unique and interesting characters, Heartman, Mama and Deadman in particular, An mysterious antagonist.

Relaxing game play and intense stealth when you encounter BT's.

This game has the perfect balance and there is nothing more fun than collaborating with other players to make new roads and zip lines, It feels a bit like Journey in the way you communicate, everyone sort of knows what you are trying to achieve and contribute. Truly a master piece.
