This is one of the best modern games I've played in a while. It's a Metroidvania, with beautiful pixelated graphics, an interesting story, and fun(and sometimes confusing) level design. The game almost always has you on edge(especially around spikes) and grinding isn't really required. The boss fights are never beaten in one try(or I just suck) and there's a backstory for almost EVERY character. What's not to love?!
