This has potential to be a fun game to grind out and just kill stuff. It's kinda Souls-Like. You kill, collect souls and spend them on upgrading stats and learning skills.

Has some decent combat and some pretty cool skills.

Encountered a couple bugs.

Needs Ultrawide Support (3440x1440) and an option to change your FoV.

It also has a bunch of words that are not spelled correctly.

Like "Comfirm" instead of "Confirm".
Like "Cencel" instead of "Cancel".

Gets better the better you get.

The Map and UI are so bad that it makes it unfun to traverse the world and figure out which quests are where. It needs a serious overhaul.

Starts off fun and gets better the further into it you go. A lot of systems that I haven't even scratched the surface of so far.

It could use some improvements though. Some QoL, better UI and some DLSS and Optimization.

The New Standard.

An overall improvement over the first game.

Great game itself. The story, characters, dialogue, combat and atmosphere are all excellent.

The port sucks.

i7-8700k + 3080 FTW3 Ultra + 16GB Ram.

Looks phenomenal. Settings mostly on Medium/High with DLSS Balanced. Usually around 60-80 FPS with dips and stutters.
Shaders took like 45 minutes to build.
Sometimes I get these microstutters in the mouse camera movement and sometimes it smoothes out just a little bit. I don't know what causes it.
You can't bind "Caps Lock", which is what I usually use to Crouch.
I wish they had changed the Cross Menu for weapons/items to a more linear, PC friendly design.

I've only played one run through the Trial Version so far but it's real fun.

The first game I played that was similar to this was Vampire Survivors and I unexpectedly really enjoyed that game.

This game is kind of set up similar with the rogue lite mechanics and the upgrades you choose during each run.

The major difference here is you're not only controlling your characters movement, but you're also in charge of actively using your skills whenever you want as long as there off cooldown. The combat is really fun because of this.

Other than the combat being really fun, between the number of mobs on screen and how fun the skills are, the movement is also fun. You get a pretty generous amount of dodges which allows you to really keep moving and dashing around.

The sound/visual effects add a lot of enjoyment to it all too.

Looking forward to the full release.

Terrible mobile game ported to PC with terrible monetization.

If you want to Pay to Win, just play Lost Ark.

Final Fantasy VII is my all time favorite video game and story. I have the Buster Sword tattooed on my arm. I first played FFVII on the Playstation 1 back in the day. I beat the original game a handful of times and have already beat the Remake on Ps4.

With that being said, I wish they had treated the PC port better. There's an amazing game at the core, but this has got to be the laziest PC port I've ever played. Square Enix only provided us with the absolute minimum when it comes to PC features. An incredibly limited amount of graphics options and no ultrawide support, along with many, many players experiencing lag and stuttering. Some pretty strange choices in default keybindings with a couple that you can't rebind. The players have had to come up with their own fixes and add their own support just to make the game acceptable.

You'd think, considering the huge number of passionate fans that exist for this game, easily considered to be among the best games ever created, that Square Enix would put a little more effort into delivering a quality version of the game to the PC community.

I'm using Flawless Widescreen to get Ultrawide Support and proper FoV options. I think it messes with the in-game map, but has more pro's than con's. Hopefully Rebirth gets a more robust choice of Graphics options and QoL features.

A fun little game with 3 different levels. Great for burning some time by shooting some zombies.
The graphics are nice and the weapon handling/firing feels good.

They also added some booba skins. Highly recommend trying it out.
