Starts off really fun. Great combat, graphics and gameplay. Fun upgrading and progressing, all that good stuff.

End game quickly turns into running the same exact thing every single day on as many characters as you have time for and upgrades take forever.

The game really needs more variety for the end game grind and the best content (Raids) can only be done once per week.

Also heavily, and I mean HEAVILY pay to win/pay to progress/pay to upgrade, whatever you want to call it.

Feels like a second job after a while.

If it had less pay to progress and more just Battle Pass or some kind of subscription, it would be amazing.

Unreal Engine 3, Poor Optimization, Pay to Win and Low Population.

There's a reason nobody's playing this game.

Plus, Lost Ark just launched.

Low population but always easy to find a match.

The game is great, it's a shame it didn't get expanded on.

The teamwork, objective play and gun play is great.

Highly recommended and hoping for a sequel.

The fun that this game provides is like a bell curve. It shoots up really quickly and is great for awhile and then you've pretty much experienced everything gameplay-wise while you finish playing the story.

I like Max and the secondary character, Chumbucket, that aids you throughout the game. They're dynamic is enjoyable.

The story is good, I can't complain.

The map is setup in a very Ubisoft type of way, giving you a lot of random markers to clear off the map, the most annoying being the Hot Air Balloons which are comparable to Horizon Zero Dawns "Tallnecks" or any Assassin's Creed game that has you climb a tower to observe the surrounding land and mark POI's, such as scrap locations, snipers and enemy camps. As you clear POI's you unlock more upgrades for your car and character.

The combat is extremely enjoyable to start off with, but lacks enough variety to prevent it from becoming repetitive. A *LOT* of left and right mouse clicks.

I'm at 33 hours played right now, I've cleared a whole lot of side content and POI's but I'm at the point where I want to just finish the story and move on.

My biggest complaint is actually the audio bugs I've encountered. In general, the audio seems plain old glitchy and crackly the whole time I'm playing. Every now and then the audio for everything will get really quiet, requiring a restart. I'm playing on an i7-8700k + 3080 FTW3 Ultra + 16gb Ram.

I guess I recommend the game, especially if you're already invested into the Mad Max universe (which I am not).

One of my major attractions to video games is watching numbers go up and this game is nailing my love for that. I love leveling my character, skills and gear. Every increase in number is another hit of dopamine and I'm sure many of you can relate to the enjoyment that comes with that.

I've never played text based games and never thought I would enjoy one. I'm only 7 hours into this game, and while I'm not playing it as a main game, I'm running it in the background while playing New World and listening to Podcasts. Every now and then I'll switch over to Melvor, sell a few items to manage inventory space, watch my Gold number go up, see how many levels I've gained in Mining, maybe do a few minutes of active play in either combat or crafting some new gear, or just switch right back to my main game and podcasting while Melvor levels in the background.

For only $10, with no microtransactions, this is well worth it if you're looking for an idle game to lightly manage while you're doing something else. I'm not sure how it is later on in levels when it comes to actively playing the game, but I didn't buy this game to actively play, just for a little extra gameplay in the background.

*Update #2*

The game is still improving and getting better. They did away with the Expertise System and replaced it with just having loot drop at higher and higher Gear Score. It's a much more natural progression now. The new Expansion is fun and comes with the much anticipated addition of mounts which is an excellent QoL feature. The Dungeons/Expeditions are fun.

Combat is still only okay and I still wish it were better.

*Update*

The game is better than it was at launch. The dungeons are fun and the Expertise Gear Score system is better than the old Watermark system. They've made some positive quality of life changes.

Combat is still only okay. I wish it were better.

*Original Review Below*

Starts off fun enough. Falls off pretty hard.

I really wanted to like this one.

The questing just isn't good. It's the same handful of quests in different regions over and over again.

The combat is clunky and a lot of stuff plainly doesn't work, either all the time or some of the time.

The large of amount of duplication bugs among other bugs and glitches that will ruin your experience.

The most recent issue is AGS stealth nerfing the end game, creating a gigantic gap in between the players that reached max crafting/GS watermark and those who haven't started the grind yet. They conveniently left all of the negative changes out of the patch notes also. They're clearly making terrible decisions and attempting to sneak them into the game without the player base knowing. A poor attempt at stretching out the incredibly small end game.

Fun MMO. No P2W. Cosmetic Only.

The leveling process is nothing special.

Optimization is pretty rough. Hopefully the Unreal Engine 4 update that's coming in the future will iimprove this.

The combat is fun. Just the right amount of skills. It's not too simple, but it's not FFXIV Dragoon 25 button opening rotation levels of complicated.

Each Class has 2 Sub-Classes. I'm running a Reaper (Assassin DPS + Occultist Healing). I use the DPS spec for single player questing and story and run the Healer spec when in Dungeons/Raids.

End Game progression is fun. Some may find it a little too time gated, but I'm cool with it.

End Game consists of Daily Quests + Daily Normal Dungeons and then Weekly Hard Dungeons/Raids. There are also leisure events such as fishing and other mini-games that are unique and entertaining.

Normal Dungeons Reset Daily. Hard Dungeons + Raids reset weekly.

The Dungeons/Raids are enjoyable. Learning the mechanics and beating the more difficult ones is rewarding.

Lots of Cosmetics/Collectibles.

Really fun Housing. You get a personal floating island with some small scale planting/harvesting of resources and an expandable plot of land to build your house and display your collectibles, like animals you've caught and statues of Bosses you've gotten out of dungeons.

Scary, Intense, Anxiety ridden, FUN.

The only thing scarier than having something scary happen, is waiting for something scary to happen. This game capitalizes on both of those emotions. Your hearts either racing because you're in some ♥♥♥♥, or because it's too quiet and you know you're about to be in some ♥♥♥♥.

I didn't play RE7 but I'm now a big fan of Ethan. He keeps pushing through the struggle. He takes a beating and keeps going, while still seeming relatable. From what I hear, his dialogue was lacking in RE7, but the general consensus is that they nailed it with his dialogue in this game.

IMO, a perfect mixture of fear, horror and combat.

A really good story that actually explains a lot of detail about the history of Resident Evil that was all tied together excellently. I actually read a lot of the notes and journals you find throughout the game.

And of course the best part, the Dimitrescu Daughters ;)

I've beaten the story once, played a bunch of Mercenaries mode and am currently playing through New Game Plus which becomes available after beating the game once and then loading your final save back up.

Highly recommend this game.

My favorite MMORPG so far.

Combat starts a little slow but gets more and more engaging and fun as you level up and unlock more skills. Learning your rotation well enough to execute it smoothly feels really rewarding, especially while avoiding attacks and nailing positionals. The story is thoroughly enjoyable throughout the entire game.

I've really only played Melee DPS as the Dragoon. I've never played an MMO that required such a long rotation in order to be fully effective. It's like a 20 button rotation. Luckily the skills get added slowly as you level so you have time to learn the basics and add onto it as you go, eventually having a full rotation while weaving Off Global Cooldown skills in between them. Very rewarding and engaging when your muscle memory gets a hold of it and you don't even sweat the full rotation anymore.

The community has been excellent. The best MMO community I've experienced. A lot of people say Hello at the beginning of match made dungeons and say GG and Thank you at the end. If you let people know it's your first time running a dungeon, they tend to be very accepting of the fact and will let you know the main mechanics of Boss fights before you initiate them.

I've only dabbled into crafting but I had found a few different items to craft that sold constantly, giving me a steady influx of Gil, really making you feel like you're part of an economy. There's crafting gear and tools for all of the professions. When you get into the mood to work on crafting, it begins to be really fun. There's a quality grind built into it and it pays off. I still remember breaking 1 million Gil for the first time (which is nothing compared to some of the people that have been playing all these years).

The mounts are cool. Flying is available, but you have to unlock flying zone by zone. You usually unlock flying in a zone toward the end of your main questing in the area by collecting Aether Currents that are scattered throughout the map, so by the time you unlock flying in that zone, you're ready to move to the next, where you do not have flying unlocked yet. It ends up being beneficial because you end up going through older zones for future quests and having the ability to fly through them is like a reward for its completion.

I've tried WoW, ESO, Neverwinter, Destiny, Runescape, The Division and other MMO's, but this is the one I keep coming back to. Relearning your rotation after taking a while off is the only barrier to re-entry. It all comes back after a few hours though.

Easily recommended.
