Love it and Hate it.

Fun gameplay, combat, leveling and gearing process, including some fun set bonuses.

Terrible stability, always online, no offline single player and the worst Peer-to-Peer multiplayer connection I've experienced in a long time.

Launched with server issues. Matchmaking connectivity is abysmal, making co-op unplayable 90% of the time and unacceptable at this point. Matchmake and you just lag/skip around, abilities don't go off, you get stuck in animations, get kicked mid-expedition and lose all your loot, or worse, complete the whole expedition and then get disconnected and still lose your loot + more time, etc.

Example of abilities not working in Co-Op:
-Weapon Mods that refill your ammo on kill don't always trigger when killing enemies.

-Pyromancers Heatwave (firewall) will play the animation but the skill won't go off. I don't know if this is a problem with the game losing track of the cooldown timer or just generally buggy.

-Devastator using Gravity Leap and getting stuck upon landing.

-Trickster getting stuck if you take damage as you activate the Whirlwind Blade skill.(and more)

Crashes aren't rare.

A handful of enemies are way out of balance and instead of being difficult, are just annoying. Snipers having insta-lock aim, the Alpha Perforos jump spamming without a cooldown to stagger-lock you, the Crawlers spamming multi-directional attacks in all directions without you being able to dodge them, also staggering you on hit and the Brood Mothers laying a blue flame DOT puddle on the ground that you can't see.

Players that got their inventories wiped are still waiting on getting them restored (as of 4/26/2021)

The first patch consisted of nerfs.

Currently too many issues to recommend, *especially* if you're looking at it for the end game grind.

Nowhere near what was promised and advertised.

A bit buggy and very demanding of your PC.

Decent story, especially around Johnny Silverhand. Some side quests, nowhere near the quality of The Witcher 3. Leveling up and applying stat points is fun and lets you build into a specialty. The city looks good and can be fun to explore and take in, but it's nowhere near as interactive as we all probably expected.

CDPR dropped the ball on this one. I'm just hoping they don't screw up The Witcher 4.

For such a simple set of exercises, not only is it fun, but it's really helped me dial in a sensitivity that perfect for me. Finding the right sensitivity + building the muscle memory with the different modes has definitely helped me improve in game.

It keeps record of your performance too, between leaderboard positions, average scores, high scores and where exactly you've improved.

I definitely recommend this program if you're looking to improve.

Fun game so far. I like the skills and animations. The class building is going to be fun in this one. Instead of a static Skill Point Array, you can rotate the inside, middle and outside sections of the plate to really mix things up.

People are giving poor reviews mainly because the Online Servers have been down for maintenance for like 24 hours now. The Devs have been doing a good job keeping everybody informed.

Offline Single Player is still fully functional. People are running into an average amount of bugs. I still haven't encountered any.

I'll be playing Single Player until the Servers come back on and then I'll be enjoying the game even more than I am now.

Steam Charts shows 65,000 people playing Single Player today despite the Server issues. People are enjoying the game.

The people complaining and giving bad reviews are super impatient and angry.

I recommend the game, and if you're mainly in for the online play, just wait until the servers are back up. Check their Twitter for updates.

As of 12/29/21, updates are a little slow, but I think it's a 1 man development team, so it's kind of expected. Each update shows progress though.

For as simple as it is at the moment, being early access, it's fun leveling up and grinding out weapons/rings/skill scrolls. Going from barely killing a Lvl 25 Captain Bear, to being able to pull 2, 3, 4 at a time. The progression is just simple and fun.

I bought the Early Access Pack with the pet Owl that follows you around just to support.

Game freezes atleast once an hour. Hard freeze, audio still playing, can't move mouse or tab out to desktop. Have to hard reset the PC. Unacceptable.

Windows 10 - All drivers up to date.
i7-8700k stock.
1080Ti FTW3.
16gb Ram.

Will update review when fixed.

Also, as a new player, you just get a ridiculous amount of quests with no real direction. Everything is a complete mess and all over the place. I feel like nothing is in order and everything is just a clusterf*ck.

Jumping into PvP after going from Light Level 750 to around 850, you're still playing against people who have all there Exotic Weapons/Armor unlocked and you can feel the advantage they have. Sucks that they expect you to play for 100 hours before being able to PvP on an even playing field.

The UI is also terribly jumbled. There's like 8 different pages of menus/inventories that could have easily been laid out in a more user friendly way. Marking quests doesn't always work properly, leaving you just roaming around, wondering if you're even in the right place. Having 20 quests, divided into 2 pages and then like 20 bounties ends up being overwhelming as you don't know where to start or what order anything is supposed to be done in.

UPDATE 2: After 109 hours, the addition of Adventure Mode, Hardcore Mode and Hardcores new Neck/Ring/Emote rewards, I'm still loving this game. I believe Spring 2020 is bringing us an update to "Corsus/Survival". I'm looking forward to the Corsus update and I'm hoping Survival is another game mode that I can continue playing on my main toon(Hardcore requires you to start a new toon, but every new item unlocked becomes accessible on all your toons account wide, old or new). I believe the roadmap even mentions content for late 2020.

The Devs have been steadily patching the game and keeping communication open still. They've added some more setting options (Including the heavily requested Show/Hide Helmet Option) along with some appreciated QoL features. They even uploaded a few YouTube videos showing you how to make drinks that look like in-game consumables. lol.

I still recommend this game and I'm really looking forward to the future of this IP, whether it's more and more DLC or a Sequel!! Maybe "Remnant: Into Dust"?

UPDATE 1: After 40 hours, I've beaten the game on Normal and re-rolled the world into Hard and still thoroughly enjoying it. I've unlocked even more Traits to dump points into to bolster where I find myself weak. More guns, more armor and I've also pounded my desk a lot more trying to beat some of these Bosses lol.

The Devs have been holding *excellent* communication with the playerbase and have already made great changes based on feedback. I feel really good about this team of Devs.

More content is on the way. Adventure Mode is coming soon and for Free.

I actually can't wait until more *paid* content comes out so that I can continue to support Gunfire Games.

Original Review:
Very happy I bought this game.

First thing's first, I recommend this game.

You're going to see a lot of comparisons to Dark Souls, and it's done really well, with guns.

It's single player or 3 player co-op.

The difficulty is just right and also gives you the option to crank it up for even more of a challenge.

The shooting feels excellent and all the weapons I've gotten so far feel great and have their own place. You can swap weapons quickly during combat giving it a real smooth feel.

The mechanics are real fun, dodging, reading enemies, consumables, upgrading weapons.

Leveling is really fun too. You get Trait Points that you get to spend on a growing choice of Traits (Health, Stamina, Elemental Resist, Reload Speed, Ranged Damage Reduction, Enemy Awareness, etc...)
You earn these Points at a good pace to so it feels like you're always getting more powerful.
You can also regrind areas if you choose to.

I only have 1 complaint, and that's 1 or 2 enemies I've encountered with long reaching melee attacks can sometimes hit you through geometry/cover. It's easily realized and avoided though. Hopefully that issue gets taken care of.

I haven't even beaten the game yet and I already can't wait for more to be added. I'm actually excited to see where this game goes.

See you in game!

Visibility is the #1 killer for this game. 9/10 times you'll be killed by somebody you can't see. It's so very far from fun.

Mantle over something (if it lets you), and your character pauses on the other side of whatever you hopped over for a second. Feels bad.

I can't come up with anything positive b/c it was really generic. Nothing stood out to me. It's like playing Heroes and Generals without being able to see your enemies.

Friendly fire is a huge issue b/c you have to aim at somebody and wait to see if a friendly name appears over it or not, which isn't instant. Sometimes it will be a freindly and the name won't pop up. Do you shoot?

I can't recommend it in this state but I'll keep an eye on it and change my review if things improve, but it's just another early access war game that I can almost guarantee won't succeed.

I've seen this too many times.

This was never my type of game. I always played FPS/Third Person RPGs, but for some reason, the aesthetic of this game drew me in.
This was my first City Builder and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the hang of it quick, but it still took me failing like 4 times before I survived in the "A New Home" game mode.

It was easy enough to learn and play, but complex enough that I actually had to pause and think about what my next best choice would be. Some sacrafice, some real decisions to make!

The way the story unfolds was really entertaining, it even had a few cutscenes. The tension sure does build as you play also.

I highly recommend this game for anybody who already likes City Builders, or is into trying one for the first time.

I've played 2 Alphas for Breach and now it's Early Access. 33 Hours at this time.

I'm enjoying the game but it will definaltey need more in the end. I'd say it's a good game for Early Access. Running the 4-Player Co-Op dungeons are fun, teamwork is most definatley rewarded. Focusing the same enemies and postioning yourself to be easy to heal during battle. It's real fun. Ability sharing is awesome also. I play an Arcane Mender (Healer Class) but I use Meteor (AoE Fireball) from the Elementalist Class as my 1 big DPS ability, everything else is Heals/Buffs. All I had to do in this case was level the Elementalist to Level 2 (1 Match), and Meteor becomes unlocked for other Ranged Support Classes.--- This makes me really excited about future classes soley because that means there will be more abilities my Main can steal and make use of.

It's *not* Pay to Win. You can buy Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Boosts to get more Gold/Exp, but you get enough Gold without it to buy whichever Gems you want. Gems are like 400 Gold and you get around 100 (150 w/ Boost) Gold every match. Exp/Level doesn't seem to hold much weight other than you have to Level a Hero to 8 in order to share their Ablities with other classes. 1 match gets you to Level 3, btw.

So far the games monetization focus' on Cosmetics, which I think is all good. And they're actually quality cosmetics.

Overall, I recommend this game. It's $25 now, but it will be FREE when it leaves Early Access.
