I just beat the game today, just shy of 50 hours. I did all the side quests that I came across and my journal is now empty.

It starts off pretty challenging because you start with 1 character and you're fairly weak, but as you gain more party members and build a synergistic team, it gets a bit easier and a lot more fun.

I love the sense of humor that the Developers and Writers have. Everything from the dark, gritty, morally difficult decisions you have to make, all the way to a quest that has you helping a litter of cats find The Great Yarn Ball. It was very entertaining.

This game was great and it's got me looking forward to seeing what the Developers come up with next.

I highly recommend this game.

Fun game so far.

I see people complain about too much text/dialogue, but the writing is fun and if you don't like it, you can spam through it pretty quickly. It's also not constantly too much, it's just every now and then an NPC will have a lot of dialogue. It's usually pretty funny or entertaining stuff to read too. Depending on my mood, I either read, skim or spam through it.

The atmosphere is great.

The turn based combat is fun and having a plan or strategy definitely pays off.

The gear/character progression is also engaging and enjoyable.

I definitely recommend this game.

Probably a good game on console but it's a poor excuse for a PC Port.

Lacking what is today considered basic PC QoL support.

Not only the Default Keybindings, but the options you're left with are terrible.

Not sure how more people aren't upset with the condition that this game landed on PC with.

All the reviews that you see about the game crashing are true.

Might have something to do with the latest Windows 11 update, but this game is the only game of mine that is affected.

Ubisoft has hit a wall.

They need to do away with the Ubisoft Launcher and figure out what to do with their games going forward. Their current path is not working.

There will be a progress wipe in March for the 0.9 Update, and is slated to be the LAST wipe. The following is a quote from a developers update:

"One note: this patch will wipe your saves—BUT this will be the last time that happens! From Patch 0.9 onward, your saves should be safe and sound for the final release."


8 hours in and it's really scratching the Skyrim itch.

It presents a challenge fairly often, but not constantly, which is a nice balance.

It could still use some polish for sure, but it's in a pretty good spot right now.

Only 3 hours in at this point, and I'm no longer much of a "Souls-Like" player, but the combat in this game makes it so enjoyable.

Yes, the Bosses can be difficult, but you can grind the area to level up, and the more Health, Stamina, Skills and Perks you unlock, the more powerful of an arsenal you have at your disposal.

With the combat being as fun as it is, it's a lot more fun dying to a Boss 10x in a row than Demons/Dark Souls or Elden Ring.

The actual Skills you unlock that you can either use on Cooldown or by building/spending resources make it really enjoyable.

I've stayed up too late at this point and need to go to sleep, but i can't wait to wake up in the morning and continue playing.

I'm running an i7-8700K + 3080 FTW3 and I've got the Graphic settings on a mixture of Medium/High which keep the game looking excellent while pulling like 90fps.

Highly recommended.

I'm torn between recommending this game and not.

I loved the first game. It's among my favorite games.

This game is not.

The Graphics, Art and Atmosphere are excellent in this game and I can appreciate the Story. Senua is still among my favorite characters.

There could have been less forced slow walking while you listen to narration or the company you have.

The puzzles were boring compared to the first game.

My biggest complaint by far is the combat. The first game had such innovative combat, using the voices in your head as directional alerts and heads-up warnings. This game was a huge step backwards. You now only fight 1 enemy at a time and every fight revolves around you dodging between 1 and 3 times before you Light or Heavy attack. You also get an "Ability" if you want to call it that, which is "Focus" that basically activates slow-motion and essentially gives you a free kill. I hate to say it, but it's BAD. They should have kept the Voice interaction from the first game instead of dumbing it down for this game.

I beat the game in 6.9 hours.

I feel I have to choose "Not Recommended". Buy the first game instead.

Fun so far.

A lot of fun for free, but the monetization could be toned down a bit. While you don't *have* to spend money to get a lot of time/fun out of this game, certain things are more expensive than they should be.

The movement and the combat are great. Whether you want to casually burn some time with a fun grind, or go sweaty and push the more difficult content. The power fantasy is there and it feels like you'll be able to get crazy strong.

Overall I recommend it.

In spite of Digital Extremes shuttering it's Publishing Division and leaving Airship Syndicate (Wayfinder) hanging out to dry without further support, Airship found a way to continue supporting their game and keep it playable for their players.

The 2 options after being left without support were either:
-Close the game for good.
- Shift the game to a single player RPG and allow it to live on.

They chose the 2nd option and that's why we're still able to play this game.

I'm a few hours in now and it runs better than it did when it was an "MMO".

I'll continue playing and I'm expecting a solid experience. Plus we can still play with others by inviting them to our game session.

I recommend if you're looking for a Single Player/Co-Op RPG.

Super fun game.

The gun play, the teamwork, calling in stratagems during the chaos and building your loadout all make for a great time.

Highly recommended, especially if you're going in with a group of friends. There surely plenty of laughs to be had alongside the fun gameplay.
