An excellent game, much more so than could normally be expected from the description "isometric action roguelite". Then again, Supergiant Games are a developer with a track record of making games that give genre expectations a run for their money.
The art is gorgeous, the soundtrack is frankly amazing, the voice work is some of the best I've heard since... Honestly, I don't know when, and most genre-defying of all is probably the fact that the story is one of the best I've experienced in a game in recent years. Familiarity with Greek mythology will give you some great laughs, some of which are deeper cuts than I'd have expected from a piece of popular media.
On top of that, mechanically the game plays extremely well. The combat is incredibly refined, with a variety of fun and interesting weapons as well as Boons from the various Greek gods that can be used alone or together in your many, many attempts to battle your way out of Hell.

Highly recommended, and a strong contender for my game of the year.
