With the major bugs in the update that came with this DLC being fixed (there are still bugs), I would still not recommend this DLC.

The maps look amazing, but are a bit too large for where they are at in the game. They feel like they were all shifted back by 1 position in the stage order.

False Son should NOT be on stage 4. It practically forces you to loop in order to fight him since getting a start good enough to beat him in 1 stage cycle is nigh impossible.

The new items are mostly not that great and don't really add any creative decisions within runs apart from the Sale Star.

Runs feel so much slower since movement speed is now much more difficult to come by. This could also be because of the currently bugged spawn rates of elite enemies.

Twisted elites are terrible to deal with and shouldn't be in the game. There was clearly a misunderstanding of how the game works at a fundamental level when they designed this elite.

The lack of variety in the minigames is what mostly drags this down, though I'm sure that will become less noticeable within 6 months after the release

Overall it is very fun to play, even with or without friends.
