This game is better than you'd expect, definitely exceeded my expectations. So far, the mystery surrounding everything is captivating, urging you to continue the story. There's a good balance between the spooky moments and the calmer moments to give you a break, and I definitely appreciate that.

Not really an issue, but something that is slightly annoying is how there are no auto saves, and you need to remember to save yourself. You can only save at certain parts of the map, which isn't an issue so far since it seems they put save points before a section where you are likely to die. But, you need a specific item to save the game, and when you run out, you'll just gonna have to believe... So you need to manage your save items too, which is an interesting mechanic, but annoying too. To ration the save item, the time between my saves is longer, which also means that the amount of progress lost when dying is greater too, and you'll need to redo whatever you just did before dying. But at least you know what is or isn't gonna happen I guess. Ah, but there does seem to be plenty of save items, currently I've stocked up on 6 lmao in my 3 hours of playtime.

In my opinion, a good thing about this game is that this isn't really horror as in scary or making you scream, but rather just unsettling and strange most of the time. It's definitely horror with the gore and stuff, but I guess it's light horror if you'd prefer that. At least, from the 3 hours I have currently played, but I'll definitely be finishing this one.

Only problem I have with it is that it's so short... 6 sequences, oof. I have to spend more time collecting than doing the story in this in comparison to black flag, because there are probably waaayyyy too many places to visit and collect that are kinda irrelevant to the story. I kinda forgot how black flag was but there were definitely fewer locations than this. Though.... black flag had way to many uncharted collectables, and I feel like that balances out.

Either way, still a pretty good game as you get to see things from the perspective of the 'enemy' in the usual assassins creed games.

Haha... Yeah as you can see from my hours this game is just spooky. The spookiest of spooks... but that's a good thing considering that this is a horror game.
I've heard that the story is good, and from what little I've seen, it is pretty interesting.

Go spook your socks out.

Great game but 096's trigger sensitivity is broke.

That ending was just... sad, seriously... play DRV3 and feel the utter despair even before you reach that point...
It was also pretty hilarious to me, I laughed for most of it... probably to hide my sadness D;

I really should've paced the way I played this, but I couldn't. The story is quite short, but I still enjoyed it. I actually liked the gameplay, which is rare as I'm not a fan nor good at stealth games. For $2.49, the 2017 summer sale price (I really couldn't believe it at the time) it was definitely worth it.
