Best of the early hitman games and still one of the best hitman games in general

seriously not fun

I bought this pretty much exclusively for Shadow of Rose.

If anyone like me was expecting this to be, at the very least, the same quality as Not a Hero or End of Zoe then oh boy do not buy this unless its like $5 or less. The story is totally pointless. It is the most predictable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ever and you know whats gonna happen the moment it starts and it has the SAME EXACT ending as the base game and there is nothing new or interesting except for one 30-45 min section that takes place in the Beneviento house that has a "weeping angels" stealth section and some neat puzzles. But everything else sucks.

The final boss is the same as the base game and worse cause you don't have the entire arsenal as Ethan did.

The castle section is annoying and bad because of how frustrating the enemies are to fight, and there were numerous cases of stun-locking where I would just die immediately. They spam enemies A LOT and the boss at the end of the castle sucks, you're just going around in circles trying to hit him it's so tedious and boring but at least it is fairly short.

There were no pop ups for what the controls were once during my playthrough and I don't know what was going on my settings were completely normal and it was just a blatant bug with my game. So on multiple occasions I had to stop the game to see what the controls were, and speaking of, the controls themselves just feel terrible and stiff, making the third person mode super clunky.

BUT ON THE FINAL BOSS, there is a button specifically bound to 'g' on the keyboard that you must press in order to actually kill the boss in the ending QTE and it just did not tell me so I had to play it all again. I thought my game was bugged cause earlier the cutscene before the final boss was broken and the audio wasn't playing correctly so I thought that it was the game glitching. But it was supposed to tell me to press 'g' to kill the boss and it didn't so that's awesome.

The whole thing took me 2 hours and 30 min on top of me having to repeat the final boss due to a massive flaw with my game.

Don't buy this for the story. Just don't. If you want more resident evil gameplay and you haven't played the dlc's from RE7 go buy them and play them not this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

weird that i seem to get warped to an alternate reality from time to time when i get in water but the rest is cool so i give thumbs up

The campaign is above average but sadly everything else in this expansion is not really worth your time and money.

If you want a fulfilling endgame go play Beyond Light or Shadowkeep.

If you want a raid that actually has an interesting story, premise, boss fights, design, etc. etc.

THEN GO BUY BEYOND LIGHT OR THE FORSAKEN PACK.

Vow of the Disciple is a very disappointing raid. It has zero buildup, a convoluted story, baffling design decisions, and for a raid that is 4 encounters it feels so much longer than it should be. The Rhulk damage phase is the only thing that is new and interesting about the raid. The rest is pretty lackluster and seems like it was made by a team who has never made a raid and copied what other more successful raids did. Most raids have a clear goal to accomplish. There is nothing set up for the raid to have players be excited to explore its depths. It's just very mediocre for an expansion raid.

Regardless of raid opinions though, it is almost universally agreed upon that the rest of the endgame in this expansion is such a clear afterthought. It is shocking to me that they approved this for release. This is the most barebones a full size destiny expansion has ever been in it's endgame.

All there is to do is farm one activity and complete a handful of quests.

If you want to buy something from this year for endgame, buy the 30th Anniversary pack and the Dungeon Key.

Cause for an MMO there is nothing here besides a one-off campaign that has an average story, good gameplay, and thats it. Thats all you would be buying this for. 6/10 :/
