i fw this game's vibe

Insanely mediocre mod, portal community are really that desperate for content that they are labeling this as if it should be a mainline entry. lmao wtf?? this mod is average at best.

Pros: most of the chambers are pretty good (with the exception of chapters 5 & 6), and the new portal mechanics are interesting. The environmental design is strong. The mod looks good and plays good (FOR THE MOST PART)

Cons: Chapters 5 and 6 are abysmal and have terrible unclear level design, and most of the chambers/sections suck. 5 & 6 are where the downfall of this game begins. The whole second half of the game is paced very poorly. The writing just gets worse and worse as it goes on and ends up being VERY distracting to the point where I was debating just turning it off entirely. The ending felt rushed, just randomly at the end of one of the chambers the antagonist is like "i'm going to kill you now"! The vacuum cleaner joke just wasn't funny, especially with how repetitious it was.

Overall i started out liking this mod a lot and kind of hating it by the end of it. It's essentially just a poor re-imagining of a super condensed version of portal 2's story. I'll take portal reloaded over this any day.

Better than the terrible snowdrop escape but still not very good, does some cool things unlike snowdrop escape, the car section is cool and the final battle is cool.

Unfortunately most of the game is incredibly reminiscent of prospekt where there is just rooms and rooms of combine with little variation. The puzzles are better this time around but incredibly simple.

The reason why this mod is worse than prospekt and what holds it back from being at the very least competent is its LAUGHABLY bad story. Its a mix of poor translation and just BAD writing and voice acting. Hilariously terrible and the animations suck. Prospekt's story wasn't exactly on par with half life storytelling but it at least had intrigue this has practically nothing going for it.

The whole game just sort of ends out of nowhere too.

The game looks good like snowdrop escape and some of the levels are cool concepts and push the half life formula to new places but, its in service of a terrible story, annoying voice acting, and a few annoying sections to boot.

this isnt even funny bad its just bad

While fairly good, I still think this should be free. A majority of the targets are just bland and forgettable, while one or two are just downright bad (the veteran and the mercenary).

The controller is the only standout target, sadly he lacks any replayability, but first time playthrough is very fun.

Good up until chapter 4, there the game turns into complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and just a game where you wander around aimlessly looking for things to interact with. The puzzles are so easy, but nothing is made clear so a simple puzzle could take you HOURS to solve because there was some tiny little item you didn't know you could use in a certain specific way.

Just plain bad game design, waste of $$$. Had a lot of potential, sad.
