It has been a bumpy ride but they finally seem like they're making meaningful progress to this game. I think that Crytek has finally come to the realization that this is their biggest game and they need to devote more resources to it. About damn time.

Probably going to be my final update due to the direction the game is currently going. I just can't stand the way that people play this game. I hate the spam meta, I hate the space cowboy custom ammo and I hate the balance changes they are doing. No new map in 3 years, new boss is a joke, completely toxic community. I have been looking for a similar game to come along for a long time because frankly I am just sick of this game and I intended to hold out until that happened but I am just over this game. I like the concept but the development team and community are terrible.

Spawns in trios are a complete joke, most of the time the entire server spawns right next to each other. In duos it is 6 teams of 2, trios is 4 teams of 3. It just doesn't work. Trios needs a larger map with 6 teams of 3. I cannot recommend this right now if you are seeking trio content.

The trials PVE content is a complete joke. It really seems like it was just a way for the developers to piss us off. Speaking from the perspective of someone who has played since day 1, I find the lack of creativity and cheap gimmicks to be completely insulting to your fanbase. Whats even worse is that there are skins hidden behind it. The content is like running through a field of rakes blindfolded. Theres no real reason to do it other than getting the skins. Although I have nearly completed all of them they are absolutely cancer. I cannot even begin to explain how awful they are. Just go to youtube and watch some videos. I never really even wanted PVE content in the first place. This really isn't even that kind of game, but if you're going to give us any at all at least put some effort into it. This is just a sad excuse to appease the PVE kiddos.

Literally, no one asked for trials.

Put gators on the map for Christ's sake, give us some new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ maps already and how about some new bosses? What about seasons? What about anti camping. You need to start taking your dedicated base seriously because at this moment all I see you doing is milking us for skins.

I have very high hopes for this game. I have only played 2 rounds so far and after a bit of tweaking the game runs solid 60 fps and is just absolutely beautiful. Stealth is a must on here. You can't 'run and gun' it just doesn't work like that. There are so many clues in this game as to where an enemy player(and zombie monsters) could be it's unreal. Killing a player and taking the bouty has got to be the biggest rush I've had from a video game in such a long time. I felt my heart rate soar and actually was concerned in that moment whether my character lived or died. The enemies in this game are deadly. Don't underestinate them. With some refiiinement this game will completely change how we view a BR style game. We want more and this game so far has delivered. The servers are meh right now but I was able to get a few rounds in that worked well.

My one complaint is being matched up as a solo player against duos. The bounty I mentioned in the paragraph above was aquired from a duo. Each player in a duo receives the bounty and therefore I believe I received half of the total. None the less I don't think I will be refunding this one. I highly recommend picking it up but the requirements to run it smoothly are relatively high.

Wow this game has changed alot. When I first bought it I thought it was complete trash. The game itself was confusing. After finally being able to check out the official release I am just blown away by how much better it has become. This game freaking rocks!! A nice change in pace from the post apocalyptic setting that has drowned the survival genre. The wolves in this game will fu** you up. You get a sense that you are at mother nature's mercy and she is not forgiving. I became so frustrated every time I died to a wolf or ran out of wood and froze to death but in the end it was always my own underestimation of the danger of the elements and animals.

This game is a must buy for anyone who enjoys the survival genre.

Buyer beware! If you purchased for the MP like I did I hate to be the bringer of bad news but there are less than 30 players on it. I will just stick to Sniper Elite 3.

Everything about the production of this game is AAA. The voice acting and scenery are incredible. The combat was smooth and fluid. I am going to recommend this game as it will challenge you and definitely plays at your emotions. I did request a refund because the amount of time spent doing puzzles is just to much for me. I expected more action. For someone who enjoys puzzles mixed into a great story and combat(even though there's not a whole lot of it) this game is second to none. So yes even though I didn't care for the puzzles I am still going to give this a tumbs up.

Refund requested. Game breaking bug(unable to use inspection mode) not allowing me to play with a controller. If I pay $60 for a game, I better be able to play how I want to. As for the DRM and uplay issues I didn't experience any of this. Day 1 DLC is some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I don't like the changes to the combat system that they made. Just purchase the stick of truth. That was actually a good game. Leave it to ubisoft to take something that worked well and over complicate it. I was willing to and could overlook all of this if the controller worked but at this point I feel safer about investing into CoD WW2 than I do this. The difference is I was willing to give this a chance and CoD can sit on the back burner.

Well as much as I want to like this game. I just can't. It still is trying to appeal to the new and not remaining true to the old. The ammount of historical inaccuracies are comical. They turned world war 2 into a childs game. Screaming black women everywhere, red dot sights, scopes for everything. It is just stupid. Plain and simple. The mouse lag is so god awful that I had to switch to a controller(cough cough console port) While I didn't experience any yperformance issues I still just can't recommend this game to anyone.

Purchasing BF1 Season Pass instead

I have to admit that I was skeptical of another KR F2P shooter but this one is different. It plays like something inbetween CS and CoD with a few sprinkles of BF classes in the destruction game mode. I really like that it isn't P2W. From what I can tell everything in this game can be aquired by either one of two currencies.
1)Time
2)Money

Whichever of these is worth it to you gives you the option to grind to earn in game equipment or to support the developers and have instant gratification.

The amount of gold you get per game is minimal but just by logging in daily you get a free 15K gold so it would be hard to argue that you have to purchase the boosters. They are there for your convience. There are also other events to earn medals and gold relatively easily. Medals are used to purchase the best weapons on the game but again it can all be aquired completely free. I like the game enough to support the developers and I am starting to lean towards buying the founders pack.

This is coming from someone who still thinks $24(the sale price on standard edition) is to much for Rainbow Six Siege lol

I am hooked. Feels like living that Harry Potter fantasy. I see so much potential in this game and the devs actually seem like they give a sh**. Once they fix the AI, optomize the client, and the server lag this game could easily one of the best RPG (survival ish) sandbox games out there to date.

Bottom line is I understand this is EA title and it is at least for the most part playable. I expect great things from this.

They have added raid spells that have now made bases effectively useless. I am as of writing this review lvl 51 and with mid tier raid spell I can literally 1 shot the best walls in the game on official server. Not to mention the spell has an AOE effect and from the testing I have done it seems to completely destroy a 4x4x4 area which btw is freaking huge. I was completely content with having to use my spells to blow my way in. At least that took time. Now all I have to do is kill a few phoenixes and just nuke the place. In a matter of 5 seconds I can completely reck someones base.

One other thing I would like to note is that when you get to end game there is absolutely no content other than pvp which is just a broom riding necrosis spamming zerg fest. Whoever lands necrosis first wins.

While the information I wrote above still remains true about this game I am going to switch my review from positive to negative.

Game takes a heavy influence from Doom. From your first weapon being a pistol to the secrets hidden on every map, it feels like a timewarp from 2017 to 1993.(and yes i know this came out in 2014). If you are a fan of that series and love the classic 90's titles this game just might be for you. There's even some Doom related content in the workshop. Steam workshop is defniitely a plus. I haven't beat the main story but so far I like it.

TL:DR Definitely worth $2. You have nothing to lose.

Best survival game I have played. I will spare you the long review. All you need to know is that this will be the best $15 you will have spent on any game (besides rocket league) .

What are you waiting for just buy it. My box of condoms costs more than this does.
