Ignoring the fact that this is free to play I must say that this blows H1Z1 out of the water. I don't know how this compares to PUB but I was impressed with the looting in comparison to H1Z1. Even more so was I shocked that when I shot at someone it actually hit where I was aiming. Also when you press f6 in game it actually pulls out a neat menu where you can swap you muzzle, sights and magazine size. Someone what Warface does. There is also a mode where you can respawn. What they don't tell you though is that when you download this game it appears to have another game bundled in the launcher. I haven't checked it out but LMS is not bad at all.

TL:DR This game is completely underrated, performs well on my mid level rig (i5 4690k 16gb ram and GTX 970), solid looting and gunplay. Download it you won't be disappointed

Great game but there are not enough players.

If you ever played CSS Zombie Mod you will definitely like this. I felt right back in 2009 when playing this.

Now the negatives
1)Have yet to see any form of zombie/mutant or danger from nature
2)No map
3)Items are extremely small and hard to see(not highlighted)
4)Your flashlight disappears
5)I have only encountered 2 players on NO KoS servers and guess what? They KoS me less than 15 minutes after spawning.
6) Rain falls through the roof of buildings and it even rains underwater(weird lol)
7) It is generally very dark inside buildings (even during day time)
**8)Only 36 player max <-- Depending on the person this could be viewed as a positive

At this point I can't recommend this game. It is hard to navigate and despite trying to play no kos servers to learn the game there doesn't seem to be any form of deterrent against it other than the title of the server.

So what's the verdict?
The game looks great and although I am going to give this a thumbs down at this point it still looks more promising than H1Z1 or DayZ. The one major thing that sets it apart at this point is the lack of hackers.

I will update this review when the loot system is revamped and there is more enemies present in the game. I can deal with the KoS because that is pretty much the standard toxic community that is survival games. Without any other form of danger at this point I very much so feel as if I am playing a running simulator.

Update 1/10/2018
I started playing again recently and the game has vastly improved. I still fiind the building system to be clunky but there are actually enemies that I have come across and the players I have come in contact with didn't KoS. This community is pretty die hard and I am really excited to see the direction they are going. Maps can be aquired by just following roads and you can pick them up from the signs you come across. The map is crude but it helps none the less. The rain no longer falls through the roof of buildings and the max player for a server has been increased. My only real gripe is that the game is too dark even after messing wiith gamma settings on my monitor.

windows 10 64bit game randomly crashes on cut scenes and you will lose the last 30 minutes of gameplay because of failure to auto save. I uninstalled. I loved the first game but after upgrading to windows 10 it won't even run on my computer. Crashes on startup.

Fix these issues and I would be more than willing to change to positive. Personally I love the series, but I hate wasting time.

Everything H1Z1's battle royal should of been. Crafting(but just the right amount), scarce loot, and not alot of guns(and its hard to get ammo). This gamer focuses on getting up close and personal. The most common weapons you will get are melee. There are traps in the game that can really make or break certain situations. Its all up to you and your playstyle. You can stay back and try to pick people off with a bow or a blowgun(which poisons people and makes them throw up ) or you can just rush straight in and have an entirely melee fight (similar to chivalry). You can tase someone and then have them begging for mercy as you cut/slash/bash your way into their hearts.

-You don't die as fast as H1Z1, combat is very in depth and tactical

The Cons
-QUE TIME this is my only major complaint
-If you like guns, your not going to like this game very much. Guns are extremely rare and ammo costs alot of func(the currency you use to buy ammo and craft)
-If your on a lower end PC you will have difficulty keeping track of players that aren't right next to you.
-Loot can make or break your current game. If someone does find a gun(not likely) you don't have much of a chance. The 2nd game I played I got mauled by a guy who got me with a blowgun then ripped me apart with a CHAINSAW. Take it for what it is the game is still solid.
-A few non game breaking bugs
- I personally had the game crash 1 time randomly

For $13.49 you can't go wrong. I would gladly pay the full price ($14.99) all day any day.

Same as original, game is trash. No new game modes. Completely false advertisement. Personally I would rather have both game(s) in the same client, than to have 2 games with 2 different price tags(which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥). Oh and now it takes about 5 mins to que for a game, before it was instant.

The ONLY pro i could see is that I was getting higher FPS, but thats it!

The story in this game is gripping me harder than any other game I have played recently.

I have been a huge fan of wolfenstein, I will admit I am biased as hell. Having grown up playing this series since I was literally 2 years old. That being said the only complaint I have was the Wolfenstein 3D easter egg. I mean come on, only the first level!?! I would pay all day for a full conversion of the game on this engine. I think that would be the greatest thing ever made. For the love of God. You guys are such a tease, worse than a wh**e on payday. Talk about some gaming blue balls.

Devs if you read this. DLC DLC DLC ****WOLFENSTEIN 3D FULL GAME DLC PLEASE****

Let me start off by saying
1) This game is nothing like DayZ or H1Z1.
2) There is no hunger/thirst system in this game(food and drink items simply heal you).
3) Currently the game is SINGLE player only, I have not found news anywhere that states multiplayer will be added(but we can hope).
4) The only options you can change graphics wise in the game are resolution, gamma, and v-sync.
5) The way you save the game is by sleeping(you don't need to sleep because your tired) or accomplishing mission objectives
6) Accept that you must deal with uPlay which is a horrible steam clone.

UPDATES 8/22/15
1) There are a total of 3 melee weapons I have found(so far).
2)The L9A1 and Cricket Bat cannot be put into storage(really annoyting but whatever).

8/23/15
1) So I died today by some sort of explosive that wasn't there. You then spawn as another randomly generated person and you have to go back to your body to retrieve your loot.
2) If you hit your former self in the face like I did to make sure he/she is dead the game will crash(windows 10). Not sure if its the game or the OS.
3) Just found out that there are zombies who have an explosive tank on them. IF you engage in melee combat 1 hit KO.
4) If you die again on the 2nd character you get before looting your first dead body. All loot disappears from that person. If you are unlucky like me you lost a bunch of ammo, a pistol, spiked bat and a shotgun along with some molotovs and med kits. It is a bit frustrating due to the game being hard to find stuff in. Just don't die, simple as that.

This game just works, I have rarely found any game that could actually scare me, even in the slightest. Haven't jumped out of my chair this many times since I last played the Dead Space series. The reason this game is capable of pulling it off, is that you truly don't know whats coming next. It's not so easily predicted like other games in the genre(which I am an enthusiast of survival horror and zombies in general).

I have not played the original as I don't own a WiiU. This game actually makes me wish I did, but I will never fray from PC gaming. From what I have read this is the same game(someone please clerify).

Anyways right from the start, the game draws you into the immersive environment. You have a person (who I have yet to meet) guiding you along your survival journey. So far most combat for me has been preferably melee. Don't want to draw too much attention becasue the zombies do pack a punch(quite literally). The game has a very dark atmosphere, so get used to having that flashlight out for some periods of time. If you played games such as Dead Island or Dead Rising(though not as many zombies) you will be pleased by your 20$ investment into a complete masterpiece.

What you will learn in this game.
1) How to kill zombies and be stealthy!
2) You will soon be a professional cricket player!
3) Learn to trust strangers!
4) Reclaim your childhood fear of the dark!
5) Discover your fear of what hides in the water.
6) Realize you might be making frequent bathroom breaks after nearly sh**ing your pants from jumpscares.
7) Figure out that a single shot/blow to the head is simply not enough..

20/10 Would review it again!
