Graphics: While a bit old now, they still hold up well when compared to more modern games. The game uses its design to project a cartoonish, yet dark, atmosphere.

Plot: A decent story about a dark force threatening the land, with the main player as the one to stop it. As cliche as this may be, the game focuses moreso on the world that the player is living in. It follows you as you travel the world, with your companions reacting to the actions you do. It falls under the same feeling as Mass Effect, where talking to those that follow you gives you a great feeling of satisfaction as you learn about them and grow close.

Gameplay: The game is real time, yet you can pause the game to issue precise orders to your allies while looking at the battle from above. As with most RPGs, you get stronger with better items and with leveling.

Music: The sounds in this game add to the overall atmosphere without overtaking it.

Overall, this game is one of my classics, and I find myself thinking about it even now.
