tl;dr: 9.5/10, a little tough to run at times but worth full price.

I was one of the 2 people in the entire universe that got into Warhammer 40k after this game came out, but before I played it.

I bought this game after buying the 10e intro set and (poorly) painting some of the miniatures in said pack. While the Tyrannic War between the Ultramarines and the Hive Fleet Leviathan Tyranids wasn't my favourite I still loved every second of it. Buying this game and seeing the minis I spent hours painting on my screen made me feel like a kid watching a beloved TV show while holding the action figures for it.

The devs are clearly committed to making a great game and they are actively working on improving it. Worth buying at full price if your rig can run it.

10/10, Listening to Jimi Hendrix on the Mekong Delta was the most fun I've had in ARMA III

Buy it for the zombies. Story is crap and the multiplayer is disgusting.

Value: $60 AUD for the deluxe edition would be stretching it, but the base game being $89.95 is disgusting. wait for sale.

A cool way to select games and hang out with friends. much nicer than PSVR's flat screen of the menu

as a gun nut I LOVE this game. Being able to see and interact with my favourite firearms in VR is amazing. with over 250 historically accurate firearms, you can find everything here, AKs, ARs, Glocks, STG44, M60, VP9, Lugers, Flintlocks, Muskets. a must have for any gun nut

Before I talk about gameplay let me start with one thing you will hear a lot with this game, VR sickness! I personally don't get VR sick from this game (before you ask i have 190 hours on steamVR, several hundred on PSVR, and around 24 hours on oculus games), but it does take getting used to (for me around 7.5 hours) but many people do, with that out of the way onto the gameplay. this game is fun, really fun, everything from the sandbox to the arena to the story mode is fun, and almost everything is perfect (the only things I have issues with are the stabbing and the climbing) gunplay is fluid and realistic, world and object interaction and movement just makes sense. now, the game is quite intense with hardware, but my PC (GTX 1650, 16GB DDR4 RAM, I-7 9700) can run it just fine at the quest two's default res on low settings, but if you can, it might be worth overclocking.
