I was really hesitant about this game because it started as a mobile game, but those fears were quickly squashed as I began to unravel the mysteries of Friendship Island, the amusement park island that you and several Sanrio pals decide to vacation at.

This game is incredibly charming. The characters are adorable, and I look forward to every unique interaction I get with them. I have enjoyed unlocking new features, areas, and mini games as I explore. Truly this game is a dream for any fan of the cozy genre.

Some may find the daily grind boring, but I can confidently say that it hasn’t gotten old for me yet. If you don’t like the grind of games like Animal Crossing or Cozy Grove, then this is probably not the game for you. Everything is time-gated. You will be gathering lots of materials and waiting until the next day. Rinse, repeat.

Something else worth noting is that at 30+ hours, I still feel like I am in the tutorial as I have not unlocked all features of the game. Personally I don’t see that as an issue, but I could see how some may feel the game is slow or lacking content if they give up too quickly.

Overall, this is a great option for anyone that has been craving an adorable life sim. Although the price is a little on the high side for the Cozy genre, I do think the game is polished and high quality. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
