The game is too short and IMHO the mechanics are under explored. The story told during the gameplay has almost nothing to do with the game itself... and is not that great either.

But the "fractal" mechanics are just pure awesome.
If it's on sale, buy it.

If you ever played D&D (pen and paper RPG) this is by far the best DLC for Borderlands 2.
I really LOLd and even got a visit from the onion cutting ninjas at the end.
