You know what props to the Devs, This third faction reveal was super meta!

The game immediately softlocks on starting a new game as the titular shop building doesn't even spawn in. The devs haven't updated it in 4 years, games been abandoned, don't buy it.

I feel like the summary of my last session of trying to stealth a mission kinda summarises the current state of the game.

Attempt 1. got halfway then crashed.
Attempt 2. just started and crashed.
Attempt 3. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it myself because the NPC gave me wrong directions.
Attempt 4. Was halfway through emptying the vault... then crashed.

I'm running on a solid rig; SSDs, i9, RTX3090, 64GB RAM. It should not be this unstable.

Charles is pretty chill once you get to know him.

A simple and fun horror. that's basically a cheaper Monstrum.

There's one main building with 3 floors, and a shed beside it. 2 monsters, 2 escape methods, and about a dozen items. take the right items to the right place, and you can make progress towards one of the escapes. One moster will kill you, the other will slow you down, drop what your holding, and call the other monster, to kill you.

Time to start again, everything's in the same place. Time to run about recklessly and dab on those monsters, as you speedrun your way into the safety of the antarctic wastes!

Nostalgia Reigns.

must own, if you're weak to theme hospital shaped nostalgia.

This game gave me the same feeling, as when I first truely understood the gameplay of Dark Souls.

Now bare in mind that they drastically different in how you should approach situations. many techniques that won Dark souls aren't nearly as viable this time around, especially dodging into attacks.
I'd say the Boss fight that this game finally clicked for me was 'Ashina Elite - Jinsuke Saze'.
This was the fight that I truly realised just how Vital the timing of your blocks are, and from that point on the game suddenly opened up. I was aware of how the game worked, and by extension how to approach even the most dangerous enemy.
yet even then the devs purposely designed that experience, training you from your first steps in this game, not simply trough tutorials, or hints (though they are present). but through practicing it's mechanics in escalation.

I have now 100%'d this game, and I was astounded when in ng+3 (fourth playthrough) I beat the final boss in one go.
The fist time I had fought him it had taken hours, upon hours, and I wasn't convinced that I hadn't simply gotten lucky.
Now their was no doubt left in my mind, I had truly overcome it and I've left this game feeling elated.

this is one of the best VR game I've played to date.
