Didn't know what to expect from a prequel to my 2016 GOTY from a new developer but this game delivers a great story with great music and is an awesome companion for fans of the series.

This game brings out that feeling of the existential dread in the best way possible.

I really enjoyed this, it's like Telltale's Walking dead meets Gone Home. The fact that you can rewind and redo your actions is a pretty neat mechanic.

I can see where some people may get more out of this game emotionally than others but I wasn't personally affected as much. Besides that you're left with a game that has clunky controls and somewhat novel visuals with mediocre puzzles that is barely long enough to make it worth a purchase.

GOTY? For some people? maybe. For me, no way.
