Terrible game. The game mechanics are frustrating a feel buggy. The polish feels quite low but maybe that'll translate into a longer campaign. It does have a low price point. I'm not really interested in playing it so I'm not sure how long it actually takes to complete.

It sort of has elements of an escape room to unlock the actual game then has odd mechanics for the more actiony areas. I could see it being useful for streamer wanting an oddball game to over react to. I could also see a strange demographic of people who play games for a funny bad experience but it was made this way on purpose.

If you buy play within the 2 weeks so you can refund if you are not happy with your purchese, I did not. I did at least get on sale and isn't that pricy to begin with.

This is a collection of mini-games where you plink at things until story happens and a dog makes a satirical jokes out of gun ownership.

The theme is a satirical vision of a gun culture america as seen by austrians. The art style and format of the game is like a Disney themepark ride with flat plywood characters and a dog with a speaker in his mouth. It has a kind of 50s aestheic in presentation. The whole time you sitting/standing in a cart like in the ride so there is no locomation. No real enemies and amounts to watered down job simulator with less things to do and options to get the on rails story to continue.

The gunplay doesn't feel right. Everything sort of feels under powered or somehow off. The main pistols used has some kind of rate of fire limiter on them that wouldn't let me shoot faster and for some reason the case ejects upward. For two handed weapons you use a luger knock off that has its own hand that you'd use to manipulate gun controls or hold the front of the gun. This results in you holding the larger weapons with a kind of foregrip but its of by a few inches. Most things reload by hiting a virtual button on the side of the cart. Might have to grab the mag for rifles or do something different for like for the bolt action or shotgun.

The game isn't really buggy but I did manage to find one that required restarting the chapter/level. I continue to play games that are worse in this regard.

I stopped at what it called an intermission but it drags so much with a lot of talking and literal cut scenes using a projector screen it's taken me over an hour to get to this point. No mini game is really a challenge although I guess you could sit through it again to try to get better ratings. A lot of the time I was playing I found myself shooting random things while story is happening just because I have nothing to do and I'm not really doing story. This isn't great for an interactive media but some people like story driven walking sims.

Even without getting to the finish line it is clear there is a political message behind this title. At best it is mocking the idea of gun ownership. Reading reviews on other sites, after puting down the game, confirmed this but apperently it gets real clear in the message and real dark. This political non-sense really taints the satire for me as it became less of a Starship Trooper's "Do you want to know more?" and more of a Hell House fundy churchs set up during halloween. I wanted to play a game where I tried to do helicopter repair and maintenance with magnum revolvers or something not get preached at for 2 hours.

I hurt myself and damaged property then decided to play more. That was the demo. I did the same thing again after buying the game. Gorn is great and super addicting. If you don't like violence this game is not for you in any way. It is very bloody. All game modes I've played feature dismemberment and most allow for decapitation. This isn't for kids unless their parents are ok with a game that rewards beating people death with a corpse.

This release expands on the free alpha floating around including more weapons, better graphics, armor, and game modes. A campaign of sorts that allows for unlocks. Champion levels (4) where you fight a special enemy with a particular weapon. Also an endless mode that is a bit easier than the campaign but doesn't end.

There are only major con is how dangerous this game is to play for anyone and anything in range.

This game is basically a tech demo. I originally only played it for 11 mins and forgot about it. I have 2 hours or so because I wanted the VR collectable.

You're on a platform and robots are attacking. There are only 2 levels right now and one of those looks like it was only added to have a new level to show off at a con. You have a gun but it isn't really effective and is really only used to trigger the glowing balls to explode early. If you can hit the robots with a ball it'll kill them to. Very much a wave shooter with no movement system. The graphics, levels, and models all look great but the gameplay isn't interesting enough and there is a serious lack of content. There are power ups but they aren't that interesting or useful.

This is a cool social music app. To get the most out of it note when the next show is and visit then. The music featured so far has been electronic. Most things work pretty well but it can get a bit laggy with a lot of people or graphics stuff going on. The graphical stuff can come from stuff going on in the show, 'trips', 'party poppers', or 'toys'.

The trips alter the way stuff looks and needs two people to activate. The party poppers are something like a disco ball the flys up using a pre-made animation. The toys are things like bubbles or fire spinners that you mess with. The stuff going on during a show is like the trips. It appears a lot of it uses shaders to get cool effects and can use models or pre-made animations for other effects.

The game is free to play. Currently there are no micro transactions but there is an in-game currancy that is earned through in-game actions. The currency can be used to by in-game items. Trips and party poppers are one time use while the toys can be used whenever unlimited. I'd expect they'd want to monitize at some point but they can do this with cosmetics. I mean there is no real gameplay and the game is all about social features and music.

The game puts you into a role on a starship you can move around on and operate controls. The game also has the ability to teleport off ship to board or land on planets. It is very much a game I was looking for concept wise.

Currently the missions feel somewhat repetitive and there are down times when you are just kind of hanging out on your ship like during warp jumps. The game has support for flight sticks but it doesn't support it very well. Not all directions or orientations are supported and for some reason you pilot the ship by using a camera aimed at the ships rear thrusters. It is so bad I can't be a pilot.

It is a lot of fun when you boarding a ship or in combat.

I enjoyed the game a lot. The combat feels good and the art style is good. It is somewhat cartoony but it works well for this gen of VR and has worked on game meant for normal monitors. For a lot of the game I'd for get where I was in my room and easily wonder out of my play area. Wacked my wall good in this game more than once. The game is playable standing but you'd likely lose yourself and wack something you'd rather not. There are minor bug here and there but it is an early access game and they are not game breaking.

This is currently a firearm range simulator with additional fun features and gamemodes. Full gameplay is unknown as this in an early access game. I don't think the dev has a planned feature set and is just kind of developing the sandbox as he goes. Gamemodes have been increasing in complexity and what is offered in terms of gameplay. The dev does listen to and interacts with the player base for feedback on where things should go. I have actually spent the most VR time in this game. It is a lot of fun to check out all the guns and handfull of explosives that are currently in implemented. As far as I can tell everything is high detail and offers fairly realistic interactions.

You can load single bullets into the guns and all mags keep track of ammo count. A bullet must be chambered to fire and weapons have a safety if they do in RL. The angles of grips match that of the weapon's real life counter part although I don't know how well this works with the vive having a much different grip than most firearms. There are a number of firearms in this game now from pistols to smgs to rifles to an RPG.

There is a system to hold equipment on your person like a chest harness which is very handy. The menu on / triggered by the trackpad lets you pick stuff up from a distance. This lets you get stuff from across the room without teleporting or just lets you get something you dropped and you are too lazy to bend down. It might actually be my favorate feature. I'm playing the game in a space that is a bit too small to count as room scale but enough space to swing my arms around. It still plays fine. The dev has stated that he does not want to label the game as standing. I assume this can change in the future but currently works well for my setup thanks to the tools on the menu.
