Ok, call me crazy, but the single player content is actually kinda bangin? It really feels like they made a kickass mercenaries mode and then tried to shoehorn competitve multiplayer into it. For like, 3 bucks, the single player is a few hours of decent fun. Recommend on sale.

Love Gunhead, planning your attacks and getting through with all the bonuses is so satisfying! The combat feels great.

A flawed game, but very very fun nonetheless. I've been playing since the game was only available on Itch.io, and the game has been massively improved since then. I paid 15 dollars for the game back in the day, and today it's available on steam for 3 bucks less, but yknow what? I still got my money's worth.

Will this game be worth it eventually? Probably. But right now, this game is nowhere near worth the AAA game asking price.I tried playing this again for the first time in 6 months, and was unable to put thrusters on my ship. They kept teleporting to a random place instead. Until this game starts working to the point where I can reliably just... play it, I will not give it a thumbs up. I want to love it, I bought this game at launch to support the devs. I loved the original KSP and even purchased it years before it was made available on steam, but good lord, this is just not worth it. After such a long wait I expected so much more.

This is by far the best piece of non-valve developed Half-Life content I've ever played. Hell, I'd even say I enjoyed it more than Episode 1 overall. I don't want to spoil the ending, but honestly this goes toe in toe with Episode 2 and Alyx. Sure, it still has some polish issues but for a fan mod, that's to be expected, and I'm sure those little bugs will be squashed with updates. But wow, the balls on these guys to attempt an Episode 3 esque story and to actually pull it off is incredibly commendable. 10/10, this is what I've been waiting so many years for.

Despite it's length, Florence is an experience that moved me and made me feel really emotional and almost blown away on an otherwise completely worthless tuesday night. I wish I could play this again for the first time. If I have one criticism, it's that the very ending felt pretty flat, especially in contrast to everything that had happened up until that point. The parts in the game where more negative emotions are expressed make the experience feel noticeably different than when it's more upbeat, but there's nothing unique about the way the game feels to control (?) when the character feels very happy. It just made the ending fall a little flat in comparison to what came before it.

The music in the game was incredible, and it really hit hard when it needed to, but most of the time, it was just beautiful to listen to and enjoy. The visuals really convey the emotions of the story with bright and vibrant colours during happy moments and a palette of greys when the characters are sad.

All in all, Florence is a title that makes you feel ♥♥♥♥, and it's incredibly well crafted to make each moment feel like one of your own memories.
9/10, highly recommended.

Black Mesa is an excellent remake of an excellent game, and I can't reccommend it enough whether you've played HL1 or not.
