This game is pretty much a glorified flash/mobile game. Don't go in for much more. Buuuuuuuuuut... It has a few things going for it that set it apart from its legion of competitors.

Firstly, I love the visual style of this game. While they really could improve the pop-in at times, this game overall is incredibly striking and with the world being remixed every 24 hours you'll always have something new to see.

Secondly, as I mentioned the world is refreshed every 24 hours. This gives variety and keeps you seeing new stuff in the same way most "runner" games do but having it refresh every 24 hours as opposed to after each death has a lot of appeal for me. It makes the leaderboards an even playing field with no-one reaching the top because they got a lucky world seed. It also gives you a chance to learn the world a little without it being the same EVERY time you play. So every day you get a new chance to compete on an even playing field with new content which for me has been incredibly appealing.

The only issues I've run into are some pop-in problems at times with shadows propagating in front of objects that are yet to be visible. It's also very overpriced for a game of this type in my opinion. I got it on sale from GOG.com (the devs kindly provide a Steam key) and I would recommend waiting for a sale to purchase.

This is the first game that's ever gotten me to pay attention to leaderboards and try to be competitive (and the first time I've ever gotten into the top 1000 of a game, nevermind the heady heights of double digits I reached today). This game is head and shoulders above the others in it's genre and at the right price well worth a look.
