lightweight but still got everything a beginner and a more experienced indie developer might need

i dont know what to say. Im not a regular player of the genre so it feels fresh for me tho cant compare to other games in same category. i know i can easily say its fun tho.

its a civ game you know what you are getting. cant say if its better or worse than civ 5 but i can say its different enough to feel like a new game. ps. death to all third party launchers!

this game desperately needs competetion. its sliding towards being the fifa of manager games. every year the same game really minor changes. Every year much higher prices. The fm we grew up with and loved was a semi indie passion project. We dont want slightly better match engines and a few new features every year. I dont want to try to manage the media when they keep asking the same stupid questions and my answers dont affect anything whatsoever. We want to feel like we are playing the next installation to the franchise we want more detailed in match tactics different interfaces more in depth roleplaying elements. DONT BUY THIS if you have any of fm 2020 or later games. its just the same. Still gonna play for 500 hours or more tho

yes it is unreasonably hard at times. yes the enemy ai cheats and usually has ridiculous advantages. yes i like to suffer. Better than xcom eu/ew an improvement to an already great game. the only negative is the story not fitting in with the story from previous installment which kind of took me out of it in the beginning considering how good i felt after finishing the first campaign. the story made me feel like i accomplished nothing as the commander in the past. but after some time i completely got over it and was immersed in the storytelling again. gameplay wise much better than eu ew controls can still get a little clunky but no big deal. not uncomfortable enough to take anything away from the experience.

this game has aged. im not saying its aged well or bad but you can feel the game being old. keep in mind before buying. the interface and mouse controls are sometimes a pain in the a.. and some concepts are feeling like like they were from a different gaming era nevertheless its still one of the best turn based tactical games in the market and is still playable. i like it and i dont mind not having any good stealthy way or some mechanics like choose from 3 countries to operate in or like meld boxes. i still enjoy the game a lot and recommend it to people who like to feel nostalgic and or are hardcore tactical games fans. its fun and one of the best in its genre.

brilliant concept

i remember the hype when this game first came out. such an empty uninteresting open world. shouldnt have tried to compete with gta V maybe then it could be an amazing pseudo open world semi linear story based action game with good level design. missed opportunity.

found this game while watching youtube videos to sleep. enjoyed it for a while but makes me sleepy whenever i play for more than an hour. Pavlov would be proud.

i love casual simulation/management games and this was one of the fun ones. simple and easy to learn but gets harder and harder as you progress. i think its safe to give it a shot at its price range.
