I very honestly love squad. I think this game has come a long way from where I initially picked it up in the Beta, and the constant improvement from the developer's end has made playing a match feel better and better every time.

Important take-aways:
1. It's basically like Arma, except it's not really geared as a military sim. Essentially It's like chill Arma.
2. Matches are extremely engaging. I've never really found myself to be in the same situation twice, or have to make the same decision for my squad twice.
3. It's not entirely a "from the ground up" game, so it does have a bit of the feel you get with items, assets, and movement being coded and modified into unreal engine.
4. It is quite taxing on your hardware. I don't know what the minimum requirements are..but my Ryzen 5 3600x and my 1080ti leave me with an average frame rate of 70-ish depending on the map, and what's going on around me. Variance in frame rate is high on my build, with high density combat taking it down to 50 fps and open scenic areas taking me up to 130 on a 1080p display.
5. It is super fun, and value continues to be added to the game (and will be in the future, check the Squad website for more info)
