When this year first started, I was having a really hard time getting into any sort of multiplayer game. Ones that I had played for years, hour-by-hour, they no longer interested me. Then this little gem came out with a cool deal: $20 for two copies -- one for you, and one for a friend. Never played the first game, but I thought the deal was good enough to warrant me at least trying it. Day 1 of its release and I play with some friends.

During those two weeks after release, if I remember correctly, I poured ~70 hours into the game, and with every update that Hopoo releases, I play at least 20 more.

There is something so satisfying about every aspect of this game. The way the characters move, the satisfying hit registration, the amazing soundtrack and sound design, the overall LOOK of the game -- and never have I played a rogue-like that made becoming a destroyer of worlds so much fun.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone considering it. It's incredibly addicting, and such a fun game to play by yourself OR with friends.
