Very cool PVE RTS, every game feels like a new challenge thanks to the procedural generation.
The early stages of the game are mostly about expanding and claiming ressource nodes, the more terrain you have the more farms you will be able to build which means more units and buildings. You can plan and optimise how to use the available space from the very beginning.

But the more territory you claim the more you spread out your defences, and that's where the tricky part is, some areas are very hard to hold against the hordes and you will have to send units out to scout if you want to have proper information as to where to build walls and defences.

While the early game is all about scouting and developing your economy, the late game is all about preparation, even in normal difficulty if you are not prepared the hordes will roll over your settlement, you need good units, good defences and a lot of them.

Here's a few things I wish I knew earlier :)
-Do not let any of your territory unrevealed, even a tiny bit of fog of war in your lands will spawn enemies, reveal all of your territory with buildings or units.

-Build a good economy first, make storage and claim stone nodes as fast as possible, the first wave of enemy will be easy, no need to build a lot of units for it, try to get the Bazar fast, it will provide you with ressources when you need it and a good income.

-Allocate a vast area (around 18x18) to build your houses, and leave a 3x3 empty spot in the middle of it, this will be where your Treasury will stand later in the game, it will boost the income of your houses. Do it in the center of your defences if possible, you must protect your houses, if your farms get destroyed, the houses, the supply and income they give will still be here.

-And finally, when you have a good economy, start building a lot of armor piercing units, Balistas are a must, give them the "target strongest enemy" priority because the biggest danger to your settlement are the armored giants that come during the nightmare waves, you need A LOT of armor piercing to deal with them, be ready!

It's a fun little game, not a huge skill cap but It works pretty well if you are looking for casual pvp with friends, two things really set it back in my opinion sadly;
- 3 members in a squad is too low, I want to play with 3-4 other friends most of the time and for now there's absolutely no way we can join the same match all together.
- 6 vs 6 deathmatch is just not for me and there is no way to choose which gamemode you queue in, plz let me choose the game modes I want to play.
If they improve on some of these points I'll definitely stick around.

It's a good game in my opinion, maybe the reason I'm not participating in the review bombing is that there's already enough content for my enjoyment there, I've got around 800 hours on WH2 and 3 combined and I still have lots to go through, I play in Very hard which isn't even the hardest settings, my campaigns take between 100 turns to 300 depending on which victory objective I aim for and that's already very long.
I enjoy playing the Empire in legendary that's a pretty good challenge especially if you set rules like declaring war to every other faction as you meet them.
There is plenty content already and yes the dlcs are overpriced but you absolutely don't have to buy them until they are cheap on sale, if you have already finished every lord's campaign in the hardest setting and are in need of new content then congrats you are a true son of sigmar but that's true for 5% of the playerbase maybe, if you don't agree with the pricing policy of a company then just don't buy their product, but review bombing the steam page of the main game is just going to hurt the franchise I think.

It's so good it's basically Battlefield : Bad Company 3, the way you wanted it

L'experience de jeu en coop est inacceptable, j'ai fais face à tellement de bugs que je ne pourrais pas tous les citer, les problèmes les plus graves comme la stabilité réseau en coop et le softlock dans des quêtes bugées ont été résolus mais il y a encore une quantité incroyable de problèmes à tout les niveaux; pnj, son, visuels gameplay tout est affecté, impossible de jouer plus de quelques heures sans faire face à un problème du type, une porte que mon allié ouvre est infranchissable, un objectif impossible à interagir avec, etc. Ce jeu ne donne vraiment pas l'impression d'être terminé et je vois mal comment ces développeurs peuvent être satisfait de l'état de leur jeu 7 mois après sa sortie.

Je suis déçu principalement parce que le gameplay au centre de ce jeu est jouissif et qu'il a énormément de potentiel mais pour moi tout cela est gaché par les divers bugs qui persistent.

N'achetez pas ce jeu, ne soutenez pas des developpeurs qui ne font aucun controle qualité sur un jeu vendu a plus de 50 euros, prenez le en promo d'ici quelques temps vous pairez moins cher et avec un peu de chances certains problèmes auront été reglés.

Bon jeu mais tout de même j'ai un meilleur ratio douleur / plaisir quand je vais au club SM..

Excellent jeu PVP, tout y est ambiance graphismes gameplay... Dans ce jeu c'est le plus malin qui s'en tire, et contrairement à ce que disent les pleutres qui s'arrêtent à leur première défaite, OUI il est possible d'avancer dans ce jeu TOUT SEUL, ce n'est pas du tout les plus nombreux qui gagnent pour plusieurs raisons dont je vais vite fait parler ;

Ce jeu demande du SKILL, et ça les gens ont du mal mais oui un joueur solo peut gagner un affrontement contre un équipage plus nombreux car 4 mecs nuls qui tirent au canon ne font pas forcement plus de dégats qu'un joueur solo expérimenté qui fait la même chose avec brio.

Le savoir c'est le pouvoir, saviez vous que le plus petit des bateaux (le sloop) est le plus rapide des 3 lorsque qu'il avance face au vent? Rien qu'avec cette information vous pouvez avancer dans le jeu sans jamais être forcé à vous battre puisque vous saurez toujours où partir pour ne pas être rattrapé par un autre équipage.

Ce jeu ne propose aucune autre forme de progression que ces deux là; devenir meilleur et savoir plus de trucs! et c'est en ce sens là que ce jeu est génial et qu'il est satisfaisant d'y devenir meilleur!
